Anyway, I was just pondering if you've heard a wrestling theme outside the ring and marked....until you found out what the theme was for. Let's just face, you hear that familiar beat and you think Ladders and craziness, not crass, washed up old men making dirty jokes.

I've had that happen before. I was actually discussing my love for moments like that when we were discussing the WWE's use of "ADRENALINE RUSH, ADRENALINE RUSH" in some of their DVD's.

Yeah wrestling themes appear in commercials a lot because WWE doesn't own many of them. WWE licenses those songs just like anyone else can license them to use in their commerical or production.

Some themes are owned by WWE, and those are the ones that appear on WWE CD releases and have Jim Johnston's name on them. But lots of wrestlers get a production theme that WWE just licenses. It makes sense too, because so many wrestlers come and go from WWE that it would be pointless to specifically produce a custom theme song for every single one.

I've heard Saturn's theme in a LOT of commercials. It must be public domain or something.

Also, there was an advertisement for a monster truck rally that used the Crash/Hardcore Holly theme.

I always kind of liked it. Way more than The Dicks themselves.

Bob Holly's music on a connect four ad, or something like that, I'm open to correction here, the ad was on the uk nickelodeon a few years ago now

It's Stock production music. Websites sell them on CDs for a couple hundred bucks.

The Hardyz theme is used ALOT!!

That same theme also popped up for a few seconds in "Dodgeball".

I've heard the Hardy Boyz theme on a couple of different things too: a show about Paintballing on Bravo & an ad for a porno TV channel to name but two.

There's a local work accessory store that specializes in safety shoes and boots, and their commercials use Harcore Holly's theme music.

Actually I think it was used on Bret Hart's DVD before TNA used it. But yeah otherwise all I've ever heard were Bob/Crash's theme and Hardy Boyz for some access channel stuff.

I thought I was going crazy when I heard it on TNA for the first time and thought I'd heard it on the Bret DVD before.

I'm pretty sure Bob Hollys old theme is used in Dodgeball when the girl scouts are all walking in a line in slow mo.

Ive heard Medal, Kurts old theme music played at Ewood Park, Blackburn Rovers stadium when they have come out for the second half.
