Anything is possible, but does the bland Batista deserve it? I don't think so.

FUTURE Hall of Famer?!
I say induct him right now!
(but if we must wait until he retires, then I guess we must wait)

In all seriousness, Batista DOES draw quite a few fans, and not every casual fan (*GASP*) shares my belief: his presence gets them excited and they find his matches enjoyable. They see him as a true superstar.

I mark for Batista. I could care less if others don't.

I think anyone who is a world champion should eventually be inducted... i mean they induct some that don't contribute at all... someone they consider good enough to carry the company, is good enough to be inducted. Plus... really is batista that terrible?

I like Batista but, unless he has another 4 or 5 years on or near the top then there is no way. Now, if the WM rumors are true then that is a different story.

I mark for Batista. I could care less if others don't. That is unacceptable. How dare you not have the same preferences as I do?!?!?!?

The way things are going now, Cena will be inducted THIS YEAR and WWE will push him as the guy who was SUCH a legend that they had to induct him while he was still wrestling! Flair would induct him at the ceremony too.

Flair would induct him at the ceremony too. I can see it now. (At the Induction podium) Flair: I thought that I was WOOOOO! the best ever. I thought that no one would ever come close to my accomplishments. WOOOOO! Not Hogan, Macho Man, Harley Race, Terry Funk, Bruno WOOOOOO! Sammartino. Then I had the pleasure of working with John WOOOOOO! Cena. Now thats a real man. Such a real man that I had to close down Space Mountain WOOOOO! and travel around prosletizing about his WOOOO! greatness. Like him or not he's the best thing going today. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ain't that right Double A? AA: Yes Boss, whatever you say boss.

Only in the same way that Warrior could be considered a candidate (not comparing them in terms of workrate/sanity, so please bear with me).
Both have been stars, both have drawn money, but both have made a pretty minimal impact in wrestling's "long-term", so to speak.
That said, if Batista can sustain his success for a few more years, he might have a case. To me, there's a pretty big gap between "big star" and "Hall of Famer".

if Pete Rose and
***POTENTIAL SPOILER*****
the bushwhackers, as Hogan apparently mentioned on the radio
*****END OF SPOILER******
are hall of famers, then Batista may as well be inducted this year.

Batista has always reminded me of Lex Luger, and I think their futures may resemble each other.
