Yes, Kennedy for champ! Finlay is the better in-ring worker for sure, but they will certainly never give him a run with the belt, so I would rather see him in the Rumble. And since I would rather see Kennedy with the belt than Batista, go Kennedy!

And shouldn't we be happy that Kennedy isn't a hoss, yet is still in the main event? Finlay isn't either, but he is old enough to be my dad. The new trend of pushing Kennedy, MVP, Punk, Nitro, etc. means that Vince wants the hosses to do well, but has a hard time finding ones who are passable. So this could be a harbinger of good things to come.

^ True, but there is the possiblity that they are just going to be fed to the hosses/transitional champs between 1 hoss and another or the same hoss. Or Cena. Or HHH. Not saying this is the case, it's just what most of the IWC will think and is always a possiblity with Vince.
And I for one am gald Kennedy's in the ME, but I think he should lose and stay out the top spot for another year, maybe engage in an uppercard feud with another top guy. He's great on the mic and decent in-ring, but pushnig him to the title already is too soon. He still needs a slow burn build, or he'll get backlash of Cena-riffic proportions.

^^^^^ As long as Kennedy stays heel though, that shouldn't even be a concern.

I think Kennedy vs. Undertaker could go one of two ways:
1) Kennedy wins the WHC at Royal Rumble or No Way Out. Undertaker wins the Royal Rumble match or the #1 contender shot at No Way Out. Thus setting up Kennedy (c) vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania 23.
OR
2) Undertaker costs Kennedy the title at Rumble, just as Kennedy cost the Undertaker the Beat the Clock Sprint. Kennedy then comes out during the Rumble and distracts Undertaker, leading to his elimination. They then meet at WrestleMania in a Buried Alive match or Hell in a Cell match.
I'd be content with either one, but option 1 would work much better than Batista vs. Undertaker.

****My wrestlecrap sense is tingling****
I see Taker costing kennedy the match at RR and KK & Taker in a #1 contenders match at N.W.O. that Taker wins and whammo taker vs. batista at WM and i'm not even on the creative team but I see it going exactly like that.

umm wasn´t Finlay the only one who could pull out a **+ match out of Batista since the Animal returned?? Kennedy has had some good and more interesting matches with Big Dave than Finlay has. I'm hoping Kennedy plays up his victories against Big Dave. Of course this is all leading to Undertaker vs. Batista on the road to wrestlemania. but this is going to be a nicely booked fued that finally lets it settle in that Ken Kennedy is a main eventer. Unlike Mark Henry or Hardcore Holly (notice I skip the Angle vs. JBL vs. Big Show triple threat), Kennedy has been accepted by the fanbase as a guy who can main event and a guy who can be a world champion.

Whatever, Kennedy won't win.
Finlay is better then Kennedy but I don't really care about SD since Batista won the title

Finlay is a better wrestler then Ken Kennedy, but I think this will help put Kennedy to the next level.
I feel that Kennedy won't win, but I think this will just elevate him to that next level in the WWE and help him out so much.
I also hope that it's not Batista vs Undertaker. Maybe Kennedy vs Taker.

Finlay vs Batista would've been better, but I think Kennedy vs Batista might be a pleasant surprise.

Yes.
I actually think that Kennedy, if booked right, could eventually get over to Rock-like levels. The 'Kennedy.....Kennedy' catchphrase is the kind of thing that could really catch on with crossover fans and which I can see people repeating the way they did with Rock and Austin's catchphrases.
What the E need to do now is keep him at main event level for a year, building interest in him, then put him in a big title chase program, give him the belt and make him the face of WWE. And, you know, it might work, because okay, we all know Vince is nepotistic, but what's his middle name? That's right: Kennedy...
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... KENNEDY!

...is going to the Rumble instead of Finlay? Finlay/'Tista would've sucked. Hell yes. They're putting a lot of effort into Kennedy and this makes a ton more sense then Finlay heading there. Finlay!

I'm pissed Miz didn't "beat the clock" But seriously, Yay for Kennedy! I don't know about anyone else, but I LOVED that match between Miz and Taker. Just a classic squash if I've ever seen one, plus the look on Miz's face was priceless.

I think this obviously set up Taker V Tista at Mania, maybe just me though. It damn well better. I was so pissed off that they made Kennedy/Batista at the Rumble in such a crappy way that I reqound the tape I'd recorded the show on, and taped over it with my saturday night anime fix. I don't mind Kennedy in the midcard. But Goddamnit I wanted either Kane/Batista, or Taker/Batista, simply because he's NEVER defended the title against either one, and it has been eons since either of the Brothers of Destruction have gotten a shot at either version of the belt. I'm not even gonna count their matches for the WWE-Lite championship cause those sucked ass with screwjob endings that everyone saw coming from a mile away. Never mind that Taker or Kane would have been better champions than Big show or Lashley, but at least Big Show, as much as he just wasn't an ECW guy, was halfway worthwhile as a world champ.

Well, I love Dave Finlay. And Kennedy is very bland to me. I prefer Orton to Mr. Ken Kennedy. So in other words I'm biased towards Batista/Finlay. Then again, I reaaaaally don't see Kennedy winning a World Title.

Kennedy has to be the most boring and dull and other words of the same meaning on SmackDown. He's the Carlito of that show, and that's not a pretty title to have. All he ever (EVER!) does is weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, weak kick, followed by the weakest zenton ever known to man. Why he's so adored around here boggles my weak little mind.

I don't like Kennedy, he bores me and his "intense promos" against The Undertaker were just blah
I, however, dislike Batista even more, so I'll shall go for K-Squared, although I know he won't win it, but either way it doesn't matter

Oh, and as for as his so-called 'intense' promos goes, those were the dumbest things I've ever heard. He was totally not believable in that role and came off looking even more of a jackass. And who cares if he's beaten 5,6,7,18, or 73 former World champions? That's the most ignorant claim one could make.

Woulda liked Kennedy to have been in the Rumble match itself, since he was injured last year.
