Was flipping through some Meltzer star ratings and came across this:
11/3/01 Steve Austin vs. Rock ***3/4
When the hell did this match happen? I thought the three Wrestlemanias were the only times they had singles matches. -.-

That date falls on a Thursday so I guess it was on Smackdown! and during the inVasion angle. I think this might be the match where Jericho turned on the Rock.

I have no idead when that match happened. Also, the Rock and Steve Austin have face each other at different PPVs other than WrestleMania. I can think of two: Backlash 1999 and Survivor Series 2001.
Edit: I just remembered another one: De-Generation-X 1997.

The match occured at the Rebellion 2001 show in Manchester, England. Yeah, I remember hearing about that. My ex, who used to be a huge wrestling fan, attended that show. They also sang for the first time after the show ended, which is where their infamous singing promo came about. |

The match occured at the Rebellion 2001 show in Manchester, England. I saw that show. The match was alright, but it was mostly a glorified house show for us Brits so I didn't expect much. |
