Shoot Interviews - Raw; July 7th, 2002

Basically I'm continuing with my shoot interview clippings on Youtube. It's the continutation of the thread that can be seen here:

This one is a little different. People talk about the worst Raw ever, and this week was the worst Raw ever. But really, what is actually the worst Raw ever? While the question itself is difficult to answer, I think that the Raw on July 7th, 2002 was the worst Raw ever as two infamous incidents happened in the same night. THAT Jackie Gayda match, and Kevin Nash's quad tear.

These topics are usually made fun of on the internet, but what are their sides of the story. One of the reasons I'm actually doing this is because I feel that every side of the story isn't viewed, and these shoot interviews I feel help bring another look into what happened through the eyes of people who saw it.

Also, thanks to the fact that neither Raven, Cornette and Snow are in this one, it lacks colourful language. Therefore, I can post the actual link to it, lol. This video also is about 10 minutes.

So apparently that show was just very poorly run.

What happened that they had to make two hasty matches?

Basically, the whole night was just a clusterf***. They didn't go into much detail, both Nash and Gayda, but basically from what they said, the whole show was just seemingly thrown together without any rhyme or reason.

So Nash wasn't medically cleared to wrestler where he tore his quad because his bicep? 8 MINUTES BEFORE THE MATCH AND DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE SPOT? Wow, that Raw sucked soooooooo bad.

All that pain because Disco Inferno couldn't find his knee brace....

Look at the bright at...if Nash had got his knee brace, millions thousands of smarks wouldn't be able to make a "Nash just tore his quad" joke everytime he shows up on TV.

You can also add Chris Jericho's name to that list as I believe he made fun of Nash's quad tear as well on Raw in 2005.

I believe Nash had wrestled three matches the previous night in Mexico, and had pulled something during his *******star match with Mistico while attempting an 840 Comet Flare Press.

So naturally, his leg was already pretty tender.
