February 26th: Jay & Mark Briscoe defeated Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal last Saturday in Chicago to become the new ROH World Tag Team Champions in an excellent match. There will be highlights in this week's ROH Video Wire. This is the third time The Briscoes have held the belts, but the first time they have captured them since they have become World Tag Titles. The Briscoes will bring the straps to Liverpool this weekend and add to their world title status. They will defend the titles against the Dragon Gate duo of Shingo & Naruki Doi on Saturday in Liverpool. If The Briscoes make it past night one in Liverpool with the titles, they have challenged any team in Europe to try to take them on Sunday in Liverpool. Doi & Shingo have sent word that they will defend the belts on Sunday vs. Roderick Strong & Davey Richards if they win them on Saturday. Tickets for both Liverpool events will be available at the door on the night of the show.
February 26th: Takeshi Morishima made it out of the United States with the ROH World Title. Morishima's next defense will be perhaps the biggest World Title Match in ROH history. Morishima will defend the World Title in Tokyo on 3/4 against KENTA. This will be one of the most featured matches on NOAH's huge Budokan Hall show. The Morishima vs. KENTA winner will return to ROH in April to defend the World Title.
February 26th: The big news keeps coming. Last weekend was very emotional for Samoa Joe as his farewell tour continued. The responses in both Dayton and Chicago was something really special. It will all come to an end this weekend in Liverpool. Samoa Joe's final ROH opponent will be Homicide this Sunday in Liverpool. Joe requested Homicide as his final opponent due to the storied history between these two. We will have much more on this match later this week in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire.

I know with their history that it makes sense and all for Joe to end it against Cide, but am I the only one who thinks that's a bit of a letdown? They had a match 4 shows ago in January.
