I could have sworn that he did. I remember seeing in an old PWI Almanac for like 1996 or 1997 saying one of the biggest stories of the year was Nova un-masking, complete with a picture of Nova in the mask. I don't see any evidence or mention of this, so maybe I'm mistaken, or this was a different "Nova".

No, I dont think he was ever in a mask. Plus he would have already been in the BWO by 97.

Yeah I've never seen a masked Mike Bucci Nova, just facepaint and/or sunglasses. I believe there MAY have been a different Nova, a luchadore, who wrestled briefly in WWE during the period in '97 where they had luchas and minis on.

I think from a distance the face paint looked like a mask, but it was just paint.
