Yeah, that was a horrible match, Violent J seemed to be holding waaaaaaaaaaay back on those weapon shots.
Of course, then again, I would be scared to hit Mike Awesome too.

My respect for Shaggy 2 Dope went through the roof after watching this match.
And, unless I'm mistaken, he didn't gripe or complain about getting injured. (Did he?)

My respect for Shaggy 2 Dope went through the roof after watching this match. And, unless I'm mistaken, he didn't gripe or complain about getting injured. (Did he?) Nope. And he's taken worse bumps than that in JCW for far less pay I'm sure, in front of far smaller crowds, yet continued to do it AND do concerts. |

Shaggy doesn't wrestle anymore right? Didn't he really f*** up his neck at some JCW show and had to stop? I think that's why V-ICE (A god among men) had to do a match one night.

He stopped for a while but I dunno if he's still 'retired'. I know he and J worked a TNA house show last year.

I loved that 70's guy. anyone who powerbombed one of those stupid ICP idiots on the top of a bus, causing that idiot to then fall off the top of the bus, is pretty cool in my book.

(in full joke mode) I have to take full credit for thisthread. For I have already posted this vid on the Mike Awesome passes away stickie.
Ok now that my bad joke is over.... I actually remember seeing this match live and enjoying it. Maybe it was because I was a huge Mike Awesome mark. Or maybe it was because I couldn't recall any other time that I might have seen someone get Awesome bombed on top of a bus. Whatever the case may be when I watch it now as a more edjucated wrestling fan(is that an oxi moron?). I still enjoy seeing ICP get owned. And now that I know it injured him, I feel bad and all but I would have been happy then because I hated ICP. Their music was awful and they bored me to tears in a wrestling ring. And I believe this injury kept them out of wrestling for good or atleast WCW at the time(feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that one, unless your gonna tell me about them almost coming to TNA).
note: I would never wish injury apon someone. Especially someone putting his body on the line for the sake of my entertainment. But I'm admitting that sometimes positive outcomes can become of injuries.

Man, watching those 2 putz get taken out by Awesome was so satisfying. Now if only he was still around to go door to door and do it to all the "Juggalos"
