Does anyone here follow FIP closely? I started looking through some of their DVDs for the first time a few minutes ago and I think I kind of need this one NOW. www.rohwrestling.com/images/ecom/Products__1523_14.jpgJust for that main event alone. Is it a really good and interesting promotion?

Uh i have one DVD. The tag team tournament with a three way that featured now MVP.
It is pretty good. With little crowd reaction it got a little boring, but still solid wrestling.

Dude from May 2005 to now FIP has changed for the better, its like old school memphis style heels, and faces, with exceptional roh wrestling. it really started to change with Impact of Honor, which I attended and an excellent show. I recommended really from that show on.

I got to go to a show last year, they haven't come back to Orlando since though. I got more than my $15 worth. In one night I got to see: Sal Rinauro (very impressed with him) Alex Porteau (who looks roughly 55 now) So Cal Val (such a great heel manager, I could go on for days with how impressed I was with her) Davey Richards vs Shingo Colt Cabana vs Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Title Aries/Strong vs Jerrelle Clark and Jay Fury for the ROH Tag Team Titles I'm really thinking about going to the next show in Melbourne even though it's over an hour from here. The last Melbourne show was a waxing blast, you should definately make the trip since FIP has really started on a roll. With all people Roderick Strong leading as champ, but Briscoe Bros as tag champs make it much awesomer, especially when they are fueding with Necro and Mad Man Pondo.

Well, sounds like I need to give them a shot. I'll try and squeeze a DVD or two in between my ROH purchases.

Thats the thing about FIP, no matter how small the crowds they always have a dynamite main event.
They need to do some shows in SW Florida, all those central FL shows are out of my range.

yeah, from what I've heard, FIP uses a really old school style of booking, but with great in-ring product. I hear Punk's run down there even rivals "The Summer of Punk", but haven't witnessed it first hand
