Whaaa whaa whaa....its everybody's fault but Russo's....Russo is a god among men...Russo will get everybody and his grandma over and save the company.... Where could I possibly have heard THIS before?!? You mean making making the entire X-Division into Nash's lackeys ain't working? Who coulda thunk it? Entire X-Division? Only Lethal and Sonjay are involved right now.

Entire X-Division? Only Lethal and Sonjay are involved right now. During the PCS, most of the X-Division was involved. I don't understand how this angle is exactly getting Lethal And Dutt "over"--I thought they were already over before the angle (at least Lethal was). If the whole point is to cram as many people into talking segments as they can on any given one-hour broadcast, nobody's gonna get over. TNA needs to consider trimming its roster rather than expanding it--they've got far too many people on it for the length of show they can currently produce.

Russo is CLEARLY working the officials and the boys backstage to make it seem like he's really in charge and to blame when he CLEARLY is.
So that was my impression of someone who spins everything to blame Russo, how did I do?

Well that explains some things. Still can't account for Russo booking like he is in 1998 WWF still, but it at least explains why everyone is on every show. I'll take back any comments I may have thrown his way about overcrowding the show.
So now I'm looking at TNA management and thinking "Well, why don't you lay off a bunch of people?" I'm not saying that they need to cut half the roster, but I think we could live without:
The Naturals Chris Harris Jay Lethal Serotonin Kevin Nash Lance Hoyt Bob Backlund Ron Killings Shane Douglas Sharkboy The Austin Starr SoCal Val Latitia
Cutting those guys would leave TNA with all of their main-eventers intact and a decent undercard. Still, I'd start lobbying to get rid of the "everyone must be on every show" rule. It's stupid. Not everyone needs to be on every show and not everyone needs to get over. The only guys who need to be on every show and over are the main-eventers. Everyone else can just switch off weeks.

I'm not saying that they need to cut half the roster, but I think we could live without: The Naturals Chris Harris Jay Lethal Serotonin Kevin Nash Lance Hoyt Bob Backlund Ron Killings Shane Douglas Sharkboy The Austin Starr SoCal Val Latitia My take on your list. The Naturals are 1/2 gone I think. Andy Douglas got himself fired/released for not going along with the storyline. I like Chase Stevens but, stay or go, it doesn't matter. Chris Harris is in a major storyline and is talented so I'd keep him but, Miss Tennessee/The Pride of Tennessee Jackie Moore can go. I see nothing about Lethal so yeah, bye bye. Serotonin could be huge and help revive the tag division, so I keep them. Nash, I don't care either way. Hoyt is the future if just given a chance and better than people want to believe. He stays. Backlund? More WWE rip off. Gone. Killings? He doesn't want to be there so he's gone. Douglas is working as an agent and could/should be given Cornette's role after he and Russo snap and take each other out. He stays. Sharkboy? Worthless. Gone. The Austin Starr is the future of TNA. He can stay. So Cal Val/Leticia. Keep one (preferably Val) and have her do the job of both. So I'd cut some (including VKM who do nothing for TNA and drop the women's division. You don't have the time and will screw it up anyway) and, here's a crazy thought, don't use them unless you have too. You are losing money when you travel and on Sting and Angle's contracts so instead of paying everyone, just don't use them or give some the week off and use the others. Don't shove everyone on one freaking show. Also, if you don't do the Basebrawl crap then you have more free time for those on the roster.

Where could I possibly have heard THIS before?!? Actually you haven't, because you are misrepresenting the opposition. The facts are clearly infront of you. You now know why everyone is on every iMPACT! and it's a clusterf***. Now we can disagree on how good he would be without the pressure. What you have to be willfully blind not to see however is that he is obviously being pressured, and he himself doesn't like the product. So the current state of iMPACT! is not ENTIRELY his fault. That's all I have to say. Once they either fix that stupid rule or get two hours, then we can talk about Russo's current booking. Till then just accept that he is not operating with full creative liberties.

One thing I don't understand about Russo haters is that they say he doesn't devote time to wrestling. Yet he said himself that "I don't get involved in the nuts and bolts of wrestling matches. They got no business telling me how to write storylines. And I got no business trying to tell them how to wrestle." I for one think that statement right there is something Vince McMahon should take note of.
Secondly He also said that he only thinks fans dont want to see long matches on television. When asked about PPVs he said "I got no problem with long good matches on PPV. I believe people buy PPVs to watch wrestling matches." As a much as I agree with everyone one else that I wanna see more wrestling on Impact. I have no problem with him devoting his 1 hour a week to storyline advancement. Just as long as he lives up to his word and books longer more exciting matches on ppv.
Look at it this way. When he booked the 2 Hour special. There were 3 exciting matches that were give decent amount of time. I honestly believe that given more time things will be alright. Not as good as Impact was during the summer. But way more watchable than it is right now.

I can't speak for the rest of the "Russo haters," but I never blamed Russo for cramming everyone onto every single show. This newz bit doesn't refute anything I complained about--PCS, stupid gimmicks, bad angles, and every other general stupid idea the man comes up with.
Please let the tired "They just need 2 hours!" argument go. With their incredible dropoff last week going head-to-head with RAW, you can bet it's going to be a long time. Until they can get the bigger audience they insist they deserve, it's not happening.
