Hm. This goes back to a match I had over SvR06 between Clinton and Washington, over the best President ever.
...can someone get Clinton to wear the make-up?

I somewhat agree with him (I still have Lincoln at #1). Washington and Lincoln's birthdays used to be 2 separate holidays. I think it's not so much political correctness as Warrior says, but just the bureaucracy didn't want the inconvenience of giving 2 Mondays off in a row. We should have that.
Oh, and Mr. Hellwig, the president who authored the combination into President's Day was Nixon, one of the most conservative we've ever had.
