When Christian came into TNA for the first time noone was happier then me.
However, he is the absolute most TERRIBLE and unfunny face ever. Everything seems forced when he is face.
When he said "Who's the champ" and noone responded it basically confirmed that he was a terrible face and a terrible face champion.
Ever since his feud with Rhino he has been gold. Everything seems so natural to him as a heel.
I love how he went from a goofy cocky jobber heel in WWE to a goofy cocky man event heel in TNA.
Anyone else feel that Christian was a terrible face and is just a natural cocky heel?

Oh, yeah! Christian is a natural heel, unlike his *brother*. He (Cage) should know his role and never have a face turn ever again in his career.

Everything he did as a face just seemed SO FORCED. Made me roll my eyes every single time he tried to make a joke.
The whole hug thing last Thursday had me laughing and it seemed so natural

Cage is doing a great job.
I always assumed that when Joe got his first one on one shot I'd 100% want him to win but to cage's credit I'm really not sure.
A lenghty reign where all the main faces try to wrestle the title from this man and his stable of goons sound like gold...especially if as time goes on he gets more cocky..yet more paranoid and possesive of the gold.

I like his heel champion deal. In all actuallity though it reminds me of JJ. More aptly what JJ should have been had he not latched onto the NWA belt too many times. Go Christian!
Another thing that has me impressed is that Tomko is kinda sorta almost maybe over and has shown me he can wrestle fairly decently. I never liked him in WWE and he led to about five pounds in my oreo cookie wieght when his matches came n and I disapreared for the kitchen

He certainly has redeemed himself. Christian Cage = next Ric Flair ' Why even make that comparison? Seriously why put that much pressure on a guy who is hardly half the wrestler Ric Flair is. Christian is Christian, I just wish he felt more like a main eventer, TNA feels like it's just a huge midcard to me, and that has nothing really to do with the talent.

Christian is just meant to be a heel. It's what he's good at.

I think having him be face when he arrived had to be done because TNA fans were gonna cheer out of excitement. And because it was inevitable that they were gonna want their newest star to destroy Jarrett. Even though he was bland I feel his first title reign was justified. It was a way for TNA to show fans and most of all wrestlers, who were burned out of WWE that there was an alternative where guys like Christian could shine.
Once he became bland they took the title off him turned him back heel.Which he's obviously a natural at, and gave him another reign. A good way for them to keep him as a credible champ and not a one time bury him forever deal like Benoit got. I too agree that he should keep the title at Against All Odds because not only is he a darn entertaining champ. But also so he'll gain even more credibilty. And most of all I think Angle should get it before Joe setting up a huge rubber match at Bound for Glory.
And for the record his bancock joke on Impact in a segment with Montey Brown was just god awful. Thank the wrestling gods that he's heel again.

I've always said that as a face, he would never get over unless he was a comedy act, and comedy acts can't main event. As a heel he can be both goofy or serious pretty well, and even though I always enjoy a good laugh and I can't take a guy that small seriously as a tough-as-nails kind of heel, I like his current mix of cocky angry heel with a bunch of bodyguards. This current blend works, and if circumstances were different in WWE, it could have worked there.

Christian has proven that he is Main event material as a heel. That were Christian is at his best as a heel. Some guys are good at one thing and not so great at the other. Christian is great as a heel but just doesn't work as a face.
I don't care what people say about TNA and who there Main Eventers. Christian should been were he is not a long time ago in the WWE. That what I hate in the first place. People always make it sound if you can't Main event in the WWE then your not cut out to be in the Main Event. Like the WWE can't mess up.
Christian is a MAIN EVENT talent. He not a mid carder, people call him that because that what he was in the WWE but that doesn't mean that were he stands everywhere else. There is a such thing as the WWE mess using talent. TNA can make a former WWE a talent a star. Hell TNA made Montry Brown. WWE signed him and pushed him in ECW. Same gimmick just a different name.
