The fights in the early days sucked. The fighters didn't know what the hell they were doing and fights. Royce just laid on the mat 75% of the time.

look up Cro Cop and Fedor on youtube, and tell me if you think they're boring.

Oh, I'm not saying ALL of the MMA stuff sucks, but I liked it a bit more liberal.

And yes, maybe they were sloppy, but you were guaranteed that somebody was gonna get f***ed because nobody really seemed to protect themselves right.

It was like watching those old Toughman competitions. Most of the fun was because a lot of those guys weren't trained, so it was just (as JR would call it) a slobbernocker...
