Also let me add that the sole existence of XPW spawned the evil internet entity that is Jonathan Barber. I, too, was once tricked into watching XPW under the impression that it was "ECW Ver. 2.0". Man, was I so very very wrong. For every cool spot there were half a dozen blown spots. I saw two or three Kaos Vs. Chris Hamrick matches and they were (dare I say?) botch-tastic. Plus there was the time they completely effed up a flaming table spot in the worst way imaginable when Supreme burned alive for like 10 seconds. Or the time New Jack almost killed Vic Grimes in a terrible scaffold match. Or the atrocious angles involving rape or feces. Or the time GQ Money talked. Or when GQ Money was ever on screen. Or Kriss Kloss being the biggest, and worst, Joey Styles rip-off ever. I think the only good thing to ever come out of XPW's putrid existence was that a handful of people got introduced to some of RevPro's finest through their interpromotional matches. And possibly " That Juvented Guerrera Promo", too. Please explain THAT Juventud Guerrera promo. Do a google search of "Juventud Guerrera XPW Promo", and a youtube vid of it should be the first result. It has quite a bit of rude language in it though, so that's why I can't link it directly.

the fact that they try to think that substituting XPW matches in place of ECW matches on FH is even somewhat acceptable is quite offensive.

It was a horrible promotion with some good things. I bought the first video they released and when i saw that fat bastard Supreme, I threw away the tape. Then I use to watch it on American one and it was good indy sleaze. Seeing Supreme burn like a rotisserie chicken just made me shake my head.
However, I loved Mexico's most wanted and I'm a huge mark for White Trash Johnny Webb. That bastard can do no wrong in my book. Plus he was managed by Porn's favorite racist, Jessica Darlin. I mean COME ON!!

I hate XPW, and not because I have a stubborn bias against deathmatches (I am a CZW fan, as much as I hate to see wrestlers sustain real injuries). XPW is the sorriest 'wrestling' promotion that I've ever seen; I'd honestly rather watch WWE than XPW, and that's saying something, seeing as how I haven't been able to stand more than 10 minutes of WWE TV in over 5 years.
And its one thing to have a promotion with bad 'wrestling,' but its another when the promoter is a person as terrible as Rob Black (read up on the Messiah incident, if you have no idea what I'm talking about).
The only thing that originated from XPW that I can attest to enjoying is The Messiah. And fortunately, he left XPW before it folded.

I borrowed a tape from my friend from an XPW show in 2000, I think it had Sabu on it and Terry Funk, don't even remember the rest and frankly I don't want to.
A bad imitation of ECW, and to me wasn't worth watching, so since that time I hadn't looked at the product.

Urg.... what a waste of time and talent.... XPW is one of those things that makes wrestling look like trashy entertainment.... more then usual.
