The only concern I'd have with CHIKARA getting a TV deal is... well, if this week's episode of WSX got pulled over a fireball, what'll happen to CHIKARA when Ice Cream Jr. breaks out the sprinkles?

No one has any faith in CZW? Didn't they more or less relegate the deathmatches to only a few cards per year?

czw actually had a 9:00(also showed Fridays at midnight) tv show on Saturdays for awhile in Philly, Jersey, Delaware, and Mondays in Georgia. They lost the Georgia tv deal because of a Promo The Lost Boys and Jeff Bailey (NWA Wildside members, a Georgia based fed that produced AJ Styles) when CZW and Wildside were feuding back in 2002 and the group claimed they would destroy CZW worst than Columbine. For those that don't know, the promos are shot independently and the tv stations chose what to air. CZW caught wind of it before the show aired up here, but didn't get a chance to stop in down in Georgia.
They lost their other TV deals in 2005 because the station they had a deal with in Philly (that showed a bunch of indy wrestling, ROH,XPW,3PW,PIW,WEW,IPW,MLW,Wildside, ect) became a Christian channel and started showing nothing but church services.
CZW actually did very good on TV in terms of ratings; in fact it was the Philly channel's highest rated show on Saturdays from 2002-2004.
Not CZW/ROH/CHIKIRA related but I remember Comedy Central was close to getting exlusive rights to Lucha VaVoom, but I think the company went out of business.

Thank you Kingoftheindies, Ive just signed on, been reading the complete nonsense that everyones been typing and it took until now for them to be told that CZW was in fact on television! Half the people on this board that put down CZW 'cos its too "hardcore" have probably never even watched it!

I know it's not perfect, but it's not all deathmatches, the problem is... that's all Zandig advertises.

I loved CZW from 2003-2005, the problem is zandig's booking has completely ruined everything interesting about it.

What channel would CHIKARA be on if it got a TV deal? The one that comes to mind for me is Comedy Central. I really picture them being on Bravo!
