Good riddance to bad garbage. Hopefully, it shall not return. Why do you care at all? Because WSX is a shitty product that spits in the face of actual wrestling. It's a crime that legitimately good atheletes like Cabana, Jacobs, and HT are on a wrestling show with a shaky cam and CGI explosions.

That was a brutal spot, but they should at least air the episode online.

I hate to sound like a mark but WWE and WCW have done way worse to professional wrestling then any other fad has or will.

At least WWE and WCW have actual wrestling on their programs not a bunch of gymnasts who do meaningless flips and "OMG EXPLOZIONS AND PIRANAHASSSSS". Even as sucky as WWE's gotten recently, and as sucky as WCW was near the end, neither one ever got close to being as bad as WSX is. Hopefully it's gone and soon forgotten.

If kids are dumb enough to try throwing fire into each others faces, bah gawd I say let the rascals do it. Gotta learn somehow. Exactly. If you are stupid enough to do this crap, you deserve to die, regardless of your age. Dammit, WSX was my one ray of hope on Tuesdays (and Fridays when they had the previews). Well, the least I can hope for if MTV does cancel it is that all ten episodes (and all the WSXTras) are put out on DVD. I'd buy it in half a heartbeat. Hey, that's what I did when I head that XWF shut down. I bought their "Lost Episodes" three disc set and was pissed off that Vince did a little talent raid and left Jimmy Hart with nothing but a ring and ten filmed episodes.

So what you're basically saying is that since you don't like it, no one else should either? Why does everyone have to share your view--what makes it so special?

That was more explicit than I would have thought. I can't blame MTV S & P for not wanting to air that. After all the crap the B&B and Jackass have caused, I'd be leary to show that as well.

I do however, have the right to express it, regardless of whether you agree or not. If you don't care whether anyone shares your view then why share it in the first place? What's the point? The fact is, people DO care whether other people share their views, and they share them to spread those views to others. People want others to like and dislike the same things that they do. That's why people get obsessed over things they hate. Incidentally, I never said you didn't have the right to express your opinion. I simply take issue with treating opinions as absolutes.

It's a crime that legitimately good atheletes like Cabana, Jacobs, and HT are on a wrestling show with a shaky cam and CGI explosions. Well, that is your opinion, and I won't try to change your view. But, I will say this. I thought that WSX was gonna suck simply because it was on MTV (and the last good MTV original series was Celebrity Deathmatch, and that was canceled around 2001), but then I watched it. It was a breath of fresh air compared to what both[/i] WWE and TNA are putting out right now. Granted, the pyro was pointless, but, so is all the fireworks we see on any WWE show. It was nothing but spotfests, but TNA's X-Division for a time was the same way, and most people enjoyed it. To be honest, almost every single WSX hater looked at it, saw the first shaky cam explosion, and immediately deemed it crap. What if we did that with the other companies. I only have one ROH DVD, Night of Appreciation. The first match featured the Christopher Street Connection, a team who's gimmick is that they are both flaming gay. The hack commentators had no problem with that, but when Tony Mamaluke comes out with his FBI tights, they dump on him for using a "stupid gimmick" in their "pure wrestling company". Now, I could be just like a WSX hater and deem ROH crap because the commentators are huge hypocrites who suck at their job. But, I won't. It's the only ROH show I have seen. It's not enough to deem it anything beyond just another company. If I watch a few more shows and the same crap continues, then I will say that ROH is a hypocritical company. But, I am more forgiving when it comes to watching wrestling. Out of all the promotions I have seen, both local and all around the country, the only one I say is total garbage is XPW. So, maybe I'm not the one to defend WSX. I enjoy almost any promotion.

Man, looks like WSX's Risk Value is too high for MTV to handle. I suggest they aim for a Graveyard spot or try and move the show to America One, because they'll show just about anything.

Let's hope WWE signs Matt Classic! If they do (and, they actually use the Matt Classic character, which would be awesome), every single ROH smark will whine and complain because "Colt's being used wrong" or some such crap.

BTW the spot that apparently was too violent to show on T.V. leaked www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpbGzljDCQoyup, that's it. they stopped the show FOR THAT! so in mtv we learn that being thrown into liver wires is ok, being electricuted while being coverd in water is ok, and being tombstoned through an exploading coffin is ok but a fireball is not. Oh NOEZZZZ someguy did a flame spot thats been done a million times before in other feds!!! Hell this is a spot Hogan himself once attempted to do (and failed)!! ;D

Oh NOEZZZZ someguy did a flame spot thats been done a million times before in other feds!!! Hell this is a spot Hogan himself once attempted to do (and failed)!! ;D True, but you have to remember that this is a good company that is on a crappy station. Remember, MTV has had to bail themselves out after some little punk kid (with no access to cable) burned his trailer down and the parents blamed Beavis and Butt-head. And, what about all the idiots you see on YouTube smashing each other in the testicles or crashing into crap? You think these MENSA members just thought this shit up out of the blue? No. They saw Johhny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the Retard Squad over on Jackass. So, yeah, sadly a spot that is seen quite often (and has been used for years) might be the reason that WSX is cancelled. Good news, though. WSX is scheduled to return on Feb. 27. Let's just hope it stays that way. I already miss my weekly WSX fix.

Dude, this sucks!
Well, if something doesn't change before next week's WC Radio is recorded, I guess we know the "Sad News" segment will be about...

So, you all know who to blame right? Using the whole "degrees of seperation" theory, the fame spot pissed off MTV because they got suid. They got sued because of Beavis and Butthead having a (cartoon, mind you) fire spot. The lawsuit said that, since some jackass six year old (why a six year old was watching Beavis and Butthead, I have no idea) burned down his f***ing trailer in Xenia Ohio of all places, it was MTV's fault. So, by that logic, an angry white trash woman in Ohio caused WSX to be removed.

And that ultimately, is why I was worried about the concept of MTV doing Wrestling. Because they buckle like belts when the heat comes on them.
I take no pleasure from this however...well except that it'll shut up the people constantly invading the ECW threads every Tuesday to tell me what i could be watching online in a couple days.
