Samoa Joe defeated Eddie Osbourne to win the Pure Wrestling Association Championship in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada on January 11th, 2007. However, due to a contractual problem, the title switch has been annulled and the championship is back in Osbourne's possession.

The Pure Wrestling Associaton is not to proud to announce that Samoa Joe is no longer the Pure Wrestling Champion. In fact it has been stricken from the record books as Eddie Osbourne met with Owner Joe Hallem today in Goderich, Ontario and produced evidence that the match was actually non title.
The proof you ask? Well it was none other then the contract that Samoa Joe signed to get the shot at the Pure Wrestling Championship. However due to the fact the date was wrong and said January 11th, 2006 the contract is null and void. Osbourne threatened to sue the company if the belt was not returned by February 22nd, and the company history was not changed. Rumors have it Joe Hallem has stepped down from the booking committee and has hired a commissioner that will restore order. It was Joe who made people sign the contracts as a way to protect the Championship belts. Apperently Joe will be meeting with laywers tomorrow that will never allow for this to happen again.
Joe Hallem's last act as match maker was to make February 22nd's match between Eddie Osbourne / Steve Corino and / Elian Habanero for the Pure Wrestling Championship.
Thus STILL your Pure Wrestling Champion, "The Man Making an Impact" Eddie Osbourne.
This all comes on the heels of learning that Samoa Joe was going to defend the Pure Wrestling Championship this month in Ontario.
Samoa Joe was contacted and was quite livid. A video is on its way and will be aired shortly.
