According to the WON, Ron Killings got hurt on some indy show they booked him on, and they're just loaning him the money for the surgery while docking his future pay to make up for it. Can you believe that? They booked him on it! And they still have $1 million set aside for the dx challenge

Give away money, they go to the red.
Loan money, they "become pricks"
Lose/Lose situation.

Okay, could someone please let me know: Didn't TNA say it had insurance for its wrestlers? Or is it just "certain" ones? Or was this something someone made up?

People people people, we're forgetting one important thing. At least 5 reports have mentioned the fact that Ron doesn't even want to BE in TNA anymore because they don't utilize him well at all (and I dare you to say they are now, the man used to be NWA champ for chrissakes). But they don't want him to go to WWE and thus put him on youtube and give him an acting rapper gimmick as some sort of incentive...or something.

Ron Killings gets docked pay for getting injured on a show TNA booked him on?
Why does he get docked pay, I thought TNA provided a better work environment than WWE.
And Vince does take care of guys injured/on drugs.
He payed Test even when they released him, they payed for his rehab.
Rhino, Kurt, RVD, Benoit, Austin, Rey Mysterio, all get payed their downsides while injured and WWE payed for their surgery.
RVD, Mysterio, Angle, and Rhino lost money because they weren't paid for their show fees. Meaning because they couldn't work they didn't get the same type of pay.
Ron Killings getting the Surgery and TNA saying Since we're paying you, we're going to take it out of your pay is just the kind of assholiness we have unions for.

WWE has the downside guarentee clause in the contract for everybody, and while the downsides aren't as big as they were back when buisness is booming, it's still something. If the rumours were true about Ron Killings wanting to leave TNA before, then this doesn't give him much of a reason to stay around. Plus Killings isn't being used the way he should be.

*Remembers back in the day when wrestlers worked through hangnail injuries*
No, seriously though, McMahon screwed employees when the chips were down and when he feels he has to. When business is good and he can afford it, he'll treat them well. I assume TNA, and most business owners, do the exact same thing. If they're not going to give him the best treatment it just means money is tight and he's Ron Killings. A former top guy, but no longer a top guy. Best believe if it happened to Christian he'd be taken care of.

Hey TNA did say "if you get injured on a indy booking on your head be it" they have no legal reasons to pay for them if there injured, if they were injured wrestling for TNA they would have to pay.
