Yeah, looking at the card, this could honestly be the worst TNA PPV ever. I'm not using hyperbole. Angle vs Cage Abyss vs Sting Sabin vs Lynn Storm/Jackie vs Petey/Gail Basebrawl Hemme vs Dudleys vs LAX Styles vs Rhino Styles vs Rhino WOULD have me interested if it wasnt for the stupid gimmick match crap, same with Abyss vs Sting. Cage vs Angle, somewhat interesting I guess. The only one I really would like to see is Lynn vs Sabin, as its pretty much the only match that has the possibility to go four stars. Angle/Christian could too I guess but I doubt it. As a long time TNA supporter, god this is depressing. It's actually not a terrible card, but, I agree, get rid of all these gimmick matches. If there were, say, one or two (maximum) gimmick matches each PPV, not counting Lockdown, I'd be fine with it, but I'm just tired of every single match needing a stipulation or gimmick. Just let guys go out there and tell a story with their moves and acting sometimes, sheesh. Compared to some of the other shows TNA has done? We have two matches with "Knockouts" and one with baseball players.

This PPV sounds pretty bad on paper,IMO. Plus, I have a feeling that Hemme is going to face Kip James, and if that's true, then she's going to get s***ed on even more than last month.
Thank god, I won't see this debacle unfold on Sunday, I'm buying No Way Out.

I'm not surprised by the lack of enthusiasm in this PPV. I mean, 3 gimmick matches, 2 of which are street fights and one has a pole involved in it somehow, a match involving Baseball players and the KISS Demon, and a match that can only be good if it's Christy Hemme repeatedly kicking Kip James in the nuts in the most one-sided Roshambo since Cartman vs. Pip.

Like others have said, this is the first TNA PPV in a long time that I'm not excited for. Stupid gimmick matches, lame booking, ugh. Here's my predictions for Against All Odds anyway. Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage NWA Heavyweight ChampionshipJoe's going to look like the worst enforcer with all the run ins from Tomko, Styles, Stiener, etc. Christian should retain via shenanegains. Winner: Christain Cage Abyss vs. Sting Prison Yard MatchThis feud should end at Lockdown so I'll give this one to Sting with Abyss winning down the line. Winner: Sting Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Sabin X Division ChampionshipAs long as Sabin isn't in a diaper everything should be okay. I'm probably asking too much though. I see Sabin retaining and setting up an Ultimate X for the title at the next PPV. Winner: Sabin LAX vs. Team 3D Little Italy Street FightSince it's not for the titles this pretty much means the champs are taking the fall. Winners: Team 3D Rhino vs. AJ Styles Motocity chain matchThis match is set up in Rhino's favor, which means he'll most likely loose. Sigh. Winner: AJ Styles Christy Hemme vs. ?Vince Russo might as well be the mystery opponent. Then the person who deserves to get booed on this show can have the oppurtunity. Winner: Christy Hemme James Storm/Miss Tenn. vs. Petey Williams/Gail KimI wish they had something better for Petey to do. Chris Harris will probably show up. Winner: Petey and Gail Basebrawl Team "I don't care" vs. Team "Who gives a shit"Now I'm just bitter at this point. Winner: Cubs fans

Plus, to add to an already not-so-stellar card, Christy Hemme's rumored opponent will make people turn away in droves, unless it's part of swerve or something.
Angle/Christian is going to be a huge clusterf***, very reminscient of the Sting/Jarrett encounter from last August's Hard Justice PPV where Sting had Christian in his corner and Jarrett had Steiner in his, and the attention was diverted to the outside happenings as well as the things going on in the ring, and will be dependent on which guy can interfere first, Joe or Steiner/Tomko.

did Don West just say that Sting was screaming "This is unreal!" or was that two separate statements? Either way I think they left off the puncutation on his script that night. Also I wonder if Serotonin will be on the pre show or if they'll be on the pre-pre show again

Little known fact:
Little Italy is quite small. If they aren't careful they might wind up in Chinatown and then both teams will get a beatdown.

Joe: WE'RE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE! We arrived together in the same limo, we stayed in the same hotel, we worked out together, had a light lunch at Applebees, nothing major. But we are NOT on the same page!

Russo: Hey, look at the dude in the shark mask. That would be a good idea for a character.
Lackey: Umm....we already have a guy like that.
Russo: I know, I just created him *pats him on the head*

I'm an absolute idiot and decided to order this. I HATE MYSELF. I talked a lot of shit on this board about how I definitely wasn't going to order and blah blah but I had a bad day at work and figured I'd just make my night worse.
