Kurt Angle on WOCM 98.1 today said he'd been clean for two years from pain pill addiction, he made more money for WWE than any wrestler over the past six years, he likes TNA because it's more of a wrestling show than a circus act (he really said this), and he'll be starting MMA with EliteXC on Showtime, both fighting and wrestling.
f4wonline.
Wow, who knew working for wwe was the only thing stopping Kurt from lapsing into complete madness?

Does he know that Numbnuts is booking the product? How long until a Vince-Russo-on-a-pole-with-a noose-around-his-neck match?

This isn't even surprising anymore. Just sad. I agree. It seems that we are expecting Kurt to say nutso things now.

One of these days, he's gonna come out and be completely normal and have a cohesive and relevant conversation.
And we'll all be grossly disappointed.
Jed Shaffer ~I'll mark like a kid if he drops "purple monkey dishwasher" into one of his interviews.

If Van Dam does indeed jump ship to TNA, I'll be expecting:
Fear and Loathing in Orlando starring Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam. Not sure which fits better in either role though. It really is a toss up.

Maybe he just likes working radio shows. It seems like that's when all this madness comes out.

He's the equivalent of a slow motion car wreck that eventually ends up in a fireworks factory nextdoor to a TNT plant. He keeps on saying crazier and crazier things and I'm pretty sure he'll try to pull a Beatles-esque interview where he declares himself bigger than Jesus, though I think he already said he could make him tap.
Though it is kinda funny to listen to him lie unapologetically on nearly every question he's asked.

The pain-killer deal I doubt but I'd say he has made a hell of a lot of money for WWE. Dude was as over as anyone in the company and the go-to guy when they wanted a quality match.

Its possible. I'm sure Taker and HBK got paid much more per appearance, but Angle worked many more dates than they did, for sure.

He actually called Russo a creative genius in his first interview since signing with TNA. Angle is a new, real-life Mr. Backlund.

Question:
When Kurt said he made more money for the WWE over the last 6 years was he saying that he himself made more money via his salary and other money paid to him or that his name and image made more money for the company?
Either way they're both bogus claims but I couldn't tell which he meant.

Technically Mr. McMahon is the superstar that made the most money for the E.

Kurt's probably right in what he said.
