TNA memo to it's talent - "STFU!"

I'm not one to take everything I see for fact on the NEWZ sites, but the source is the Torch, plus I can see this being true.

TNA sent a memo to its wrestlers this week telling them that they can no longer do interviews with any type of media entity without prior approval from management.

They were also told not to say negative comments about the company in their interviews as well. Any violation of these terms according to the memo will result in a wrestler losing the equivalent of their next PPV payoff.

As you can probably guess, this memo by TNA was prompted after Kip James made some negative comments about TNA in a radio interview two weeks ago. James' comments actually led to what was described as an intense discussion between James and TNA's talent relations director Terry Taylor.

And I think Sammartino for his day. It would be interesting to see how much Bruno would have brought in had the WWWF been a national federation, with modern dollar value.

It pretty much makes sense. WWE wrestlers have pretty much the same restrictions, I'm sure.

While I doubt anyone would interview a random worker at Nike, I understand your point.

However, how can you find the problems in something unless people speak out?

Keeping information secret in order to keep a job causes Enron-like situations. If it were things like "Kip James says that if you have seen one X-Division match, you have seen them all" then I understand. But, if it is "Sting, Christian, (Insert talent) gets a separate lockerroom from the rest of the guys and it affects morale." then I could understand it.
