It's when someone goes over the ropes and pulls themselves up from almost being tossed out.

It's when someone goes over the ropes and pulls themselves up from almost being tossed out. Watch the ending of the 1995 Royal Rumble match. HBK "skins the cat" to get back in and eliminate the Bulldog for the win. My question is: is the term "nip-up," or "kip-up"? And what the hell is that supposed to mean?

I think it's called a nip-up because the move is so cool, all the women's nipples get hard just seeing it.
OK, so the joke sucked. Sue me.

kip-up is when someone uses there lower body (ie kicks up) to get from a horizantal to vertical postion without using the upper body. I think in martial arts, it's a kick up and some announcer, methinks JR screwed up the pronounciation and it's stuck ever since.
