This thread is pretty self-explanatory. I don't really know of all the things Fritz did over the years, but I do know about faking a heart attack and possibly talking Kerry to come back to wrestling too early from his foot injury, leading to its amputation.

He put the claw on one guy as a demonstration and blood cames out of the guy's head!
That's what my dad remebers about Fritz Von Erich.

He pointed a gun at Kevin He brought in Lance (fake) Von Erich He refused to take his show on the road He rushed Mike into the spotlight too soon, and was extremely green He rushed Mike back too soon while he was still battling toxic shock syndrome He wouldn't change with the times in order to compete with the up-and-coming WWF He withdrew his organization from the NWA which hurt because they could no longer send guys like Flair down to Dallas He sold World Class to Jerry Jarrett to form the very forgettable USWA (CWA was better)

I'm wondering if he didn't apply the Claw to his boys' naughty areas a few times...

Actually Kerry messed his own foot up by walking to get a cheeseburger shortly after surgery in the hospital, World Class was in trouble and I'd be willing to bet Kerry was going to fight to come back so they wouldn't go under in his absence

And according to Heroes of World Class (which may not be a good source, but sue me), Fritz withdrew because Jim Crockett was going national and Flair wasn't going to be able to come to Dallas anymore to defend it. If the NWA Champ won't tour around anymore, why stick with them?

He ignored all the problems his sons had...I don't think it gets any worse than that.

He ignored all the problems his sons had...I don't think it gets any worse than that. Oh, it does... he worked their deaths into storylines. The storylines weren't as tasteless as what Vince did with Eddie, but considering that it was their own father doing it... [Scource: The Top 100 Pro Wrestlers of All Time]

[Scource: The Top 100 Pro Wrestlers of All Time] Vince would do the same with Shane, but I was basically saying letting his sons die is the worst thing he did. Making the deaths into storylines was just the icing on the (god forsaken) cake.

He was also a religious zealot who would force his views on everyone and physically abuse his children drawing on some Biblical passages that that sort of thing is acceptable.

Then again, I wouldn't be shocked if it was true.
