Shelton could be the face though. If they just sent him out there and the announcers acted like he'd never been a heel, everybody would probably forget all about it. ... Shelton isn't Eugene. ... I just remembered that JR covered up the Eugene heel turn by saying that Eugene had taken the wrong pills or something. I found that funny because his cover-up for Mickie James is the fact that she is taking her pills. Maybe Eugene took hers by mistake.

Maybe Shelton would get huge face pops if he mixed Mickie and Eugene's pills?

How could Shelton not be in it? That'd almost be like a Casket Match with no Undertaker.

There is no chance WWE will do two ladder matches on one show. They did have a Last Ride Match and an Inferno match on the same show so I'm not going to doubt them

I don't see Shelton winning it. Just seems too unlikely. Also unless Shelton wins via interference, it would make Jeff Hardy look very weak.

Only way I could see Shelton winning is if they just really want some sort of MNM/Hardys match at mania.
Shelton isn't exactly a regular on TV these days.

Should be a good match, whichever of them wins really is of no consequence to me because I have a feeling each would end up in a tag match @ WM if not in MITB

Hardy will win. They will use this as his springboard into the main event. Shelton is nothing right now and wont even be on the Wrestlemania card unless the Tag Belts somehow get on Cryme Tyme. Even then its a long shot.

Hardy a maineventer? For some reason I can't see that. If it was Matt Hardy yeah very possible. But Jeff? No he is just a spot mokey with no ring psychology at all and does what? I would rather Shelton in the main event before Jeff.

If his head was on right, he would have been World Champ by the end of 2003. Even now, he's one of the most over on the roster and could easily be a World Title contender if not champ.

Eh I guess but still I don't know it just makes me sick to think of Jeff as a world champion.

Hardy should win, it's logical. Shelton did do some crazy good stuff in the past 2 MITB matches, but this year Hardy will fill that role.

Hardy seems to be a lock if we are to believe that Jakks MITB double set of him and Kennedy to be accurate. I'd like to see Shelton get in simply because he did some great stuff in the first two MITB's. There was a story on Nodq.com about it being 8-man.Not sure though,8 men seems like overkill. I wish they were RA. Though both Hardy and Benjamin seem to be perfect for ladder matches. Im gonna go with Hardy

They did have a Last Ride Match and an Inferno match on the same show so I'm not going to doubt them But those are two different stips, I can't see them putting two of the same match on this year's Mania or any other card for that matter. This isn't TNA, where you could have a whole card of cage matches or something.

I'm saying that even though a Last Ride and a Inferno match are two different things, they're still stip matches and any company is capable of putting more than one on a show. Not saying it will happen, just wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Maybe as a first time thing, but not a frequent occurence, you don't want to burn the audience out with 2 or more of the same thing. You can only see a huge ladder spot so many times in one night before you get desensitized to it. I doubt it'll happen, I can't see them wanting to overshadow the MITB match with something that might trump it.
