From PWMania.com: Vince McMahon is said to be on a mission to "fix" the ECW brand because he's had enough of the lowered ratings and the various problems. He wants to make it a brand that can stand on its own two feet and be a long-term permanent fixture in the WWE world.

Unfortunately, Vince fixing something seems as though it might be about like one fixes a cat. Expect crossover matches galore.

If they want ECW to be successful and draft has to happen and get some real main event stars to ECW. In my opinion ECW should send Edge there and maybe have Benoit or Orton go there as well.

The matches have been great and the New Breed vs. Originals is growing well, the only problem is the main event scene or lack there of. That said, the show has been awesome the past month or so.

They need to send some guys who wrestled in old ECW into new ECW. I like Snitsky and all, but when they could've (and almost did) used a guy like Joey Matthews, who's got all the right tools for being a top draw on a show, but instead pick a guy who looks like a generic hoss CAW from SD!vRAW to be the main guy, they've lost it. I like Snitsky, as said before, but come on, snubbing a wrestler with great in-ring AND mic skills for the sake of a guy who lacks niether? They could really go far if they pushed the right guys, but that isn't the case.

And mind numbingly awful comedy sketches!!!!! It's like the final days of WCW...except not as nostalgic...or good...

I do like Snitsky, but he's truthfully not as good as Mercury, and getting rid of his unique look has ruined him.

Under the new regime, all I think it would take is for a main eventer to make the jump with a little more creative freedom. (will never happen) Sadly, I think Vinny is uncapable of ever understanding truly what ECW is or was about. He thinks of tables and violence, and that's all he can see. Vince can certainly run a wrestling promotion but ECW is Paul E's baby. Only he can truly run it, I believe.
