blog.myspace.com/theonlymatthardy Sounds like he is trying to get the fans to be vocal about him so WWE takes notice. It is cool to know wrestlers appreciate the fans support, though.

I love that Hardy appreciates his fan support. Great to hear a guy give the fans credit for improving his performance, because a good crowd probably does energize a worker.

Glad to see Matt cares about his fans. And that idea of his makes sense. If more and more people like him, they're going to push him eventually.

No offense to your point. I just think that there is more motives to his decisions. Well then, explain the motive behind taking one of the hottest storylines in recent history, with a real backstory that any mark could believe, and completely f***ing it up by jobbing out one of the hottest stars in the time, then completely burying him afterwards, despite him still being incredibly over. Hardy's feud with Edge should have made both of them legit main eventers. Instead, someone f***ed up, and only Edge got that rub.

But, to expand upon the Hardy thing, if just about all the crowd loves him, which it seems is slowly becoming the case, they're going to push him. Sure, he got buried, but that was a bit of a "punishment." It's going to end eventually. maybe not, but it's more likely it WILL in fact end at some point. You're not going to have an incedibly over JTTS forever.

and only Edge got that rub. And even THEN. It took his usage of the MitB before people actually accepted him.

Hardy's feud with Edge should have made both of them legit main eventers. Instead, someone waxed up, and only Edge got that rub. Matt can blame himself for that. He almost killed their feud with that angst and emo-ridden promo he performed on the night of his "official return". Edge followed it up with a awesome promo the following week.

when i met him he could not have been more happy at the fact i was wearing i v1 shirt. he actually held up the queue asking me stuff like how my flight (from scotland) was etc... the guy is a genuine wrestling mark and really cares about his fans. top notch guy.

What sucks is Matt has always been really over, especially since he came back. They really need to look past what happened with him leaving and coming back, and push him harder. He's such a tremendous talent.

Cool, nice to see a guy in the big leagues being humble and showing appreciation for his fans. I was kinda surprised by the "We Want Matt" chants, and I was there live. Not sure how loud it was in the TV broadcast, but it quickly went from a small chant to a huge chant the entire arena was chanting. It even rivaled the "We Want Rey" chant that broke out towards the end. I wish a "We Want Flair" chant broke out too, but I guess I would have been in the 1% or so of fans in attendance that would have "got it", heh.

The chants actually came across very well over TV, even the small beginning until almost the whole damn arena was doing it. It surprised me.
