It annoys me. The likes of Gorilla could probably come up with a witty comeback.
But Cole just takes it like a real wuss. At least when Vince was owned on commentary he did that stupid little laugh.

Not exactly at Cole but a great rant nonetheless. During a Yang/Sylvan match.

hated him in the ring... but loved when vince gave him the mic for 10 mins... he is superb as a color commentator, and i love that they are giving him alot of freedom on it...  |

JBL is great on the mic and I love how he just destroyed Tazz at the 1st Raw of the new year.
Tazz: JBL you only have that spot on smackdown cause I let you have that spot.
JBL: You only had that spot cause you couldn't wrestle.

JBL is one of the huge reasons Smackdown is by far and away WWE's best show. Damn straight. JBL is probably the best commentator the WWE has had since the "Monsoon Teamings." |

JBL has been an improvement, but only because his predecessor was Tazz.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to say he's the best ever, or the best since Monsoon and co.

I just hope someone doesn't make him cool off a bit. Hey, you know how messed up WWE are - they might see him as being too upfront and show-stealing and taking away from the action in the ring.

If JBL can keep it up, I can easily see him being remembered as one of the all-time greats. However, he needs a partner who can keep up with him.
Monsoon/Heenan and Monsoon/Ventura worked because they knew how to play off of each other.
JBL and Cole don't play off of each other. Cole just takes it on the chin.
Give JBL someone who can dish it out as well as take it, and I'd watch SD for the commentary alone.

One of my favourite JBL Quotes was at the Rumble when Hardcore Holly Enetered "His just pissed off cause he has to share this world with other people"
Never was a fan of him in the Ring but i like him aload better at Ringside.
