Well, OK, they DO have an hour on some local loser channel, but I mean why can't the WWE replace the TV time that, say, Velocity or Heat (or Hell, even, ECW) with OVW? I'd certainly watch it, and it'd be cool to watch up and coming talent who we could all pin our hopes on becoming The Next Big Thing. And look at the champ! Paul Burchall, ditching the pirate crap and becoming a MONSTER heel?! Ever since returning to OVW, Paul Burchall has been running roughshot through the OVW locker room. Burchall has earned the moniker "The Most Dangerous Man in OVW" with his ruthless aggression towards his opponents. Burchall's meanstreak has a lot of OVW superstars dreading going up against him.Man, I'd LOVE to see this!

Because WWE doesn't want their main audience to see it. Why would they? It's called a developmental fed for a reason.
You can download episodes of OVW and DSW off torrents pretty easially if you really want to.

I'd love to see it but, OVW has no national pull or name recognition. ECW is supposed to be the national version of OVW (at least according to early reports) and the ECW name because it sells.

I think it could get an audience though, if they market it on TV the same way they do on their website.
"Tomorrow's Superstars - Today! Official training ground of the WWE!"
Yeah, your average Cena fan isn't going to watch it, but I would imagine 99% of the IWC and hardcore wrestling fan will watch it. Vince only has to look at his real ECW audiences to know how many of those there are.
I'm not suggesting it be a fireworks/big money show - it doesn't need to be. I just think a no-nonsense WRESTLING show would bring in money and ratings - surely more ratings than watching Lance Murdoch fight Val Venis.

Even when WWE moves a guy up to the main roster from OVW it quickly becomes apparent that said guy is nowhere NEAR ready! Why put a bunch of guys & girls who aren't ready on TV?

I just think a no-nonsense WRESTLING show would bring in money and ratings. Problem is that's not Vince McMahon's philosophy. Heck, it's not even wrestling as far as he's concerned!

Vince only has to look at his real ECW audiences to know how many of those there are. You vastly over estimate how big the IWC really is. With that said, there is also a small amount that think it's, "cool,' to hate anything WWE. So right there, a good amount of people wouldn't be watching.
