Is it not kinda weird that from the vault was the best bit on raw?  I mean rvd and edge have a good match but then we go back 5 years to hhh,jericho vs flair,rvd and it was an even better match it seems strange to show good clips from when an old raw when the cureent raw has a lot of crap on it i'm meant to tune in each week to see what the current stars are doing rather sitting and waiting for from the vault so i can see stuff i've seen before!  or this this sum up the state of raw nowadays? (it still holds my attention more than ecw or smackdown) |

Yeah, I caught a great Hogan vs Jericho match from a 2002 Smackdown.
That whole 02-05 period is completely alien to me, so it's cool to see stuff from that time.

For the confused US fans, only the UK get it. It's used to fill time because for every two ad breaks you guys have, we have one.
Yeah, at first, FTV used to show matches from 2005, like the Lashley/Booker series of matches, but recently they've been showing some matches from 2002 and such. The RVD/Flair VS HHH/Jericho match from last night was awesome, as was the Jericho/Hogan match from Smackdown! a few weeks back.
Have you noticed, though, that the From The Vault matches always seem to end in a DQ?

I thought they were only doing this on SmackDown because I watch the live Raw on a Monday, but I might have to record the Thursday Raw now to see some old matches. I love the idea, they've had some pretty damn good matches on there recently.
Hogan vs. Jericho from 2002 was killer, especially when Edge returned at the end of the match. That was awesome, and shows how over Edge used to be as a face.

I've started to give live RAW a miss because of the censorship and the fact that we get From The Vault on Thursdays.

(it still holds my attention more than ecw or smackdown) It's definitely indicative of where WWE is right now when their 24/7 channel is more entertaining than the current program. I don't like to live in the past or anything, but even 2 years ago had more potential than now. |
