I am tired of this brand split. I hate it now. I am so sick and tired of these inter-promtional matches every week on RAW, Smackdown and ECW..well, maybe its not EVERY week but its been too much latley. I liked it when they had it at WrestleMania every year..two or three inter-promotional matches, possibly some Survivor Series matches with Brand vs Brand..and even then..I wasn't that big on that.

It gave the WWE time to breed new superstars or to push existing ones on one show..while developing superstars on another show so when they finally came to fight at 'Mania..it felt like a completely fresh match..almost a dream match (with a few exceptions mind you)

I just think it just takes so much away from the "brand seperation" that Kennedy can just up and challenge for the ECW title just because he's mad about something..or anyone for that matter. He signed a contract with the smackdown brand so he is restricted to Smackdown events and Smackdown championships. It really devalues the championships..if any wrestler can challenge for whatever title they please it means that we have 8 championships just floating around..

I liked the draft every year where it would shake things up for a while and have a possibilty for new match-ups and fresh feuds..as much as I dislike Cena, I thought it was great when he switched over to RAW..I was really interested in seeing him take on Christian..Jericho..even Trips.

Arg, there is just so much wrong with the WWE right now. They create new tag teams like Cade and Murdoch, Cryme Time and such and then..they give the titles to Cena and HBK. Who are opponents at Mania this year which pretty much squashes the chance of making a rather big tag title fued/match going into the biggest show of the year!

Honestly..who wants to see Lashley vs Umaga..and watch Vince get his head shaved. I will bet that the answer is no one. Maybe make the match a bit interesting by putting two wrestlers who can actually "WRESTLE" OOOOOOOO..there's an idea. Sports entertainers that can actually "entertain" or "wrestle". I guess I should be thankful that its Umaga and not Khali..I am a huge Austin mark and the idea of having him involved still doesn't do anything for me..

Don't get me wrong. I mean, there are more than a few wrestlers out there that are capable of saving the WWE..or keeping it alive. Its just..I don't know. I'm really bored with everything.

Maybe I am falling out of being a massive wrestling fan..maybe I'm getting too old. I mean, I've been a fan since I was 5 years old and now I am 23..thats a pretty long time..or maybe it really is as bad as I think it is latley..

I say all of this and I'll still watch Wrestlemania this year. I complain about all of it but I'll still give McMahon money for this PPV..

I think you were used to the wrestling of the late 80's, 90's and early 2000's and now pro-wresting is much different from those days. Today's generation of fans will say the same thing in 10 years about what happened to the WWE in the year 2017.

yes, I guess I agree with you. Although, I've been watching a lot of stuff on youtube and what not with Alex Shelly, Claudio Castagnoli and just some general X division stuff..its all fantastic. I just don't understand why the WWE won't lean towards putting some of that stuff into their product.

I guess it has something to do with selling out a 63,000 seat arena and receiving the highest grossing revenue from a Wrestlemania ever. So, I assume they think that everything is great.

Actually, Vince is apparently quite high on bringing in some smaller mexican guys and trying to kick start the cruiser division.

However, he is still big on safe style so you wont be seeing the big flips and such which quite frankly i respect. He might know he can get some decent reaction for it, but at least the production team are putting the safety of the guys first

And all those injuries you can credit to Mick Foley and the 1998 King Of The Ring.

Because after that, Vince changed the design of the ring so it was less stiff and more giving. And after that came the spate of broken necks, so he was convinced that, rather then landing on a gigantic trampolene that made people's necks snap back and forth, it was the DDT or the piledriver that did it. And suddenly, WWE safe style was born.

Need further proof? Look at the injuries in ANY other fed. You can count the number of broken necks on one hand. Even in Japan, Land Of Head-drops. Injuries just aren't as common, despite Emerald Fusions and dragonranas and 630 splashes and Cop Killas.

Remember though, 95% of those tickets were sold back in November when it was still possible that Hogan could face Austin, and that the WWE was going to possibly bring back some big Attitude Era names; Y2J, Rock, etc. I might argue that if WM 23 tickets went on sale this weekend, you wouldn't have as much demand considering the card; it still might sell out, but it just wouldn't sell out as fast.
