I've actually thought of a gimmick about a straight, arrogant guy that was on one brand and a complete goof ball that's masked on another brand that would be the same guy.
But then Simon Dean/Hollywood Nova happened and now my idea isn't all original.

Yeah i agree Matt Classic would rock. But put him on Raw and have him complain about conchairto's, women wrestling, and have a feud eventually with Matt Classic and John Cena because he sees Cena as a hooligan and a street thug.

I would do the gimmick on ECW/Smackdown since they use the same house show schedule. Rather than Raw and one of the others. That way he'll be in 2 matches on house shows.

Just let him be Colt on one show. Colt is good enough. Please don't let people associate him with "Matt Classic" his whole career. It's a good gimmick, but Colt can and should get over as himself.

I think they should have both, but never let the casual fan know that Colt Cabana and Matt Classic are the same person. Eventually have them feud, and never be in the same place together. Have them cut promos backstage on each other and general smack talk, until they are supposed to have a match at a ppv where one of them (the least over of the two) doesnt show. Or whatever. Colt Cabana deserves to be on tv no matter what character he portrays. |

Cabana and Punk could bring back the Second City Saints and when Punk has singles matches Matt Classic could jump in and cause Punk to lose. This could set up a strange feud between Classic and Punk. Cabana and Punk should have the tag belts while this happens.
