I was in a Last Man Standing match against Mick Foley and I just couldn't put him away. After a Dead Level through both announce tables he still got up at 9. Finally, I hit a Van Daminator to finish him off and he went flying through the security wall and into the crowd! Weird stuff.

There's an entrance under Superstar ## that has Paul London's old entrance. It would work perfectly with a pair of furry boots. Huss, huss, huss ...

I whipped up a pretty decent Quackenbush CAW in an hour or so. It's not perfect, but good enough for me. I've also found that playing as a Cruiserweight isn't as bad as I thought in this game ... you just need to avoid strikes and use quick grapples, non-lifting moves and wait until your momentum bar is flashing to hit anything big.

It really adds to the difficulty level, but I welcome the challenge.

That happened to me when I was playing as RVD against Lashley in a Hardcore match for my created ECW title. And Lashley was down for a really long time, too, cuz he was in all red. So when he finally wandered back to the ringside area, I hit him with a flying RVD kick and pinned him.

I still haven't bought SvR07, but last night, I popped in the original Smackdown vs Raw. and, he's pretty bad IRL (In My Opinion), but on the game, using Hardcore Holly and Alabamaslamming people through announce tables is fun!

I tried creating an oldschool Big Bossman yesterday. There are no freaking short-sleeved shirts! I gave him a blue t-shirt, but it just looks ridiculous, since I also couldn't put designs on the shirt sleeves, just on the torso. This sucks.

Does anyone still play the older SD games? If so, is there a way to give a CAW entrance attire in "Shut Your Mouth"?

Also, does anyone think it's wierd that, of all the Japanese moves they took out of '07, they left Muta's in?

Also, does anyone have hope that next years game might be better? I mean, with ecw as a third brand, they can't really just put out "SD vs. Raw '08" and ignore ecw again, can they? I think the ecw tv show expires in aug./sept. so they Should be in even if the ecw show gets cancelled in august.
The way I see it ecw might just be the only thing that would spur yukes to make a better game; Think about it, if they include sabu they'd have to redo the entire weapons grapple system to enable springboarding and arabian facebusting. How fun would a wrestling game be if you could do arabian facebusters and triple-jump moonsaults?!
Then again, does anyone think the next game is just gonna be "SD vs. Raw '08 (w/ECW)" and they'll add crappy models the ECW guys and just give Sabu the top-rope leg drop and DDT 12 as finishers And give Punk the Bookend and Sleeper 4 as his finish?

Why did the SD games get worse over time? The season and caw modes of Shut Your Mouth are massively better than '05/'06/'07: most CAW parts are for, y'know, REAL WRESTLERS that you might actually want to play as in a WRESTLING game, it has the Muta mask for chrissakes! Kenta Kobashi moveset pre-set! But no, all that thrown away so I can roided-up rappers with gawdy terribly rendered "bling" and 50 different versions of the "Eugene Jacket"!!! Oh, I almost forgot that they also saw fit to bless us with FEET STAWP HEET HAWMP TREETS DONK CROTCH BLUR

Just watch, by August, we'll already have 20 "features" on IGN that go:

Thry deserve absolutely no mercy or restraint '07 was BROKEN, like they didn't even bother to play it to make suremit was working right, it's a pile of crap ideas dropped on top of some really crap programming pooped out of some jackass with no brain they deserve to be destitute and syphillitic, not geting free tickets to E3 'cause they help whore broken games. I hate them

No, I don't think they implemented that until HCTP.

My theory as to why the games have gotten worse is that there hasn't been any competition for THQ, and no impetus to change over the last few years. And WWE hasn't helped either. There's been rumoirs for years that they do NOT want a CAW in the mix, as they don't like the idea of created wrestlers being played more than their boys.
