I was at my friend's house last year, and we were looking through his old VHS's for some footage we had shot at school of our sketch show, and lo and behold, we stumbled upon the Raw the night after Owen died. We didn't watch it, but we know we have it now.

I found my recorded copy of Wrestlemania 2000 not too long ago.
That Triple Threat for Angles' belts is still an awesome bout, as is the TLC match.

I used to tape Raw Monday nights if I was gonna miss it...so I have some random Raws scattered thruout my tape collection.......I know I have the one where Lawler returns somewhere and a few others I have not seen in a while.

When I was in High School about seven years ago I was looking for a tape to tape Raw and came across a tape of Saturday Night's Main Event when Andre the Giant beat Hogan and sold the title to Dibiase. Talk about a hidden gem. I found a tape that my brother must've recorded at the time of that exact SNME. A hidden gem indeed. Except it was Friday night Prime Time no?

I have a few of those Supertape things they used to put out. It's mostly stuff like Akeem vs. Hercules, but one of them has a series of Hart Foundation matches where they wrestle Demolition, Rockers, Reageaus, and Powers of Pain, and that tape kicks ass.
I also have the one, I think RD inducted it once, where it has Lord Alfred Hayes talking about and showing the trucks that they use to transport the ring. Hooray. Alfred talking about trucks rocks the house.

I have the whole collection of them tapes they used to shill in WWF Magazine.....best of WrestleMania, best of SNME, Best of Bret Hart, etc......there was about 15 tapes or so in the collection. They are at my parents house, cept best of Summerslam.........
A lot of the audio sucks.......the crowd is mixed way, way higher than the announcer's...so I don't like watching it so much.

I once found a pretty big haul of wrestling tapes that I thought I'd lost - Vengeance 2002, Backlash 2002, friggin' Capital Carnage, Royal Rumble 2001, No Way Out 2001 and a few Smackdowns from around 2002 as well, I clearly marked for taping wrestling 5 years ago.

I just dubbed The Rock: Know your role and Austin vs. McMahon onto DVD and will do the same to my DX vhs (the uncensored version) & Best of Raw vol. 1 as soon as I visit home again.
One thing I didnt like about the best of raw vol 1 & 2 dvd is that they edited out owen hart attacking jason sensation the week after he impersonated him which is still on the VHS copy
Back in the day I stocke dup hardcore on 10 hour blank tapes so I have damn near every raw from May 1999 - May 2004 on tape so yeah I love discovering goodies that I taped and forgot I had like Kurt Angles KOTR ceremony which started with HBK throwing his throne off the stage and countless awesome promos & matches.
I used to have superbrawl 91 which featued lex & sting vs. the stieners which was I just get giddy thinking about but my damn VCR ate it a few years back so I havent seen it in like 10 years.
I have an old clash of the champions on tape somewhere that took place pretty much in my hometown and the main event was Lex Luger defending the WCW title against Rick Stiener.
I have Bash at Beach 1996 & 2000 on tape as well as the Final Nitro.

Not all that recent, but I woke up one morning junior year of college to find my roommates watching my copy of the 1992 Royal Rumble. Think I had WM2000 in there, too. But now I'm trying to find Coliseum Video releases to copy to DVD, and no one seems to have any available that they're willing to just give away. Guess I'll have to make a few more trips to Stamford's Goodwill...

One of the best things abotu ordering WM 2000 and taping it was the post-show show that they did and the best part about it was when M. Cole interviewed hardcore holly about the botched Hardcore battle royal and in the end Holly says if crash defended it 24/7 then i'll defend it 48/14 and maybe i'll start with you cole backed down and holly said something to cole and ended it with i'll break your ass in half you little "crap"head!!!!!
Totally uncensored too.

A lot of the audio sucks.......the crowd is mixed way, way higher than the announcer's...so I don't like watching it so much. I have Summerslam 1989 on tape, and the first half of the tape has the same problem as you described above. I can only slightly hear Tony and Jesse until the Duggan/Demolition vs. Twin Towers/Andre match, then the sound goes back to normal. Does that generally happen over time with VHS tapes? I had never seen that before. It sucks because the sound is like that during my three favorite matches on the card (Harts/Busters, Rockers-Santana/Martel-Rougeaus, and Warrior/Rude). Speaking of tapes, I found extra copies of WrestleMania V and VIII in my basement. They don't even belong to me, they belonged to a friend of mine who moved a few years ago. WrestleMania 8 is in the box (re-released version) and WrestleMania 5 is taped off a rental. Anyone interested in buying them cheap? PM me if so. I'd hate to see them just sitting there collecting dust.

A few months ago I found an old tape with Backlash 2001 recorded on it.
Shocked the hell out of me. I'm 99% sure I stopped watching shortly before Wrestlemania X-7.
