From PWMania: In the new issue of WWE Magazine, Batista says he would like to face The Undertaker in a Hell In a Cell match at WrestleMania.
Would this sell?

I was actually thinking about this recently, and thought it might add more intrigue to the match. Besides, Batista can say that he's already defeated one master of HIAC, and he can beat the other just as well.

Would a cage-style match really work in a huge stadium like Ford Field though? For the fans in the 300 section during the event, they might not be able to see the live action very good without looking at the big screens and TitanTron.
I remember having a hard time following the action when I was there live back in the steel cage days before the TitanTron and that was in a basketball arena.
Has there ever been a cage match at a large venue? I remember Hogan vs Andre in a cage at a baseball stadium but that's it.

I agree with bjboston. That is better saved for the blowoff match should this become a series.

You don't need crazy gimmick matches to sell Wrestlemania. You need them for Backlash/Judgement Day/Vengeance.

I'd save the HIAC for the later PPVs. If they were to do a gimmick match I'd like to see it be a First Blood match or something.

Yeah, I think major title matches at Mania should be strictly one-on-one.
Have a HIAC or something at Judgement Day.
