Absolutely excellent promo. It's the promo that Foley writes about in his book, his "reason to turn heel", coming after fans had chanted for Austin during the Steel Cage match for the tag straps on the RAW after Wrestlemania. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JQxQneLKew

Thank you for posting it, I absolutely love this promo and bring it up often to my friends as one of the best heel turns of all time, unlike today's random flip flopping for no reason

Yeah, I loved this particular mini-turn.

Was this the last appearance of the blue bar cage?

This the same night he came out as Dude Love and put the claw on Austin, or was it the next week?

Was this the last appearance of the blue bar cage? I think it was used once in the UK in 2000, but I'm not entirely sure.

Wow, this was the one RAW I ever attended, in Syracuse. Here's what else I remember happening:
-Austin comes to the ring dressed in a suit, pretending to have a "new image", but eventually throws it into the crowd and low-blows McMahon. -X-Pac's first match after his re-debut the previous week. The main event was DX vs. DOA. -Dan Severn beats Flash Funk - I think it was one of Severn's first matches with the WWE.
Also, the sound quality in that arena is awful - you could barely hear anything Foley said. I guess that's why RAW never came back, to my knowledge.

I'm watching it now, I NEVER liked the Outlaws, thought they sucked right from the start, and it was shitty the fans had such a hard on for Austin

Great promo, but of course the announcers have to f*** it up. "He sounds a little bitter"....really now? You think? Jesus christ.
