Benoit & Hardys vs. MNM & MVP added to the PPV

WWE U.S. Champion Chris Benoit & The Hardys vs. MNM & MVP has now been added to the card for the No Way Out PPV tomorrow night, February 18, in Los Angeles, California. So, it looks like the company has gone back on their previous decision to not keep The Hardys and MNM together as tag teams right now.

Here is the updated and scheduled card for No Way Out:

- World Heavyweight Champion Batista & The Undertaker vs. WWE Champion John Cena & Shawn Michaels.

ECW Championship Match
- Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Mr. Kennedy.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
- Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c's) vs. Deuce & Domino.

- Kane vs. King Booker.

- WWE U.S. Champion Chris Benoit & The Hardys vs. MNM & MVP.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Open
- Gregory Helms (c) vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Funaki vs. Jamie Noble vs. Shannon Moore.

- Diva Talent Invitational.

- The Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman vs. Finlay & Little Bastard.

In the ongoing rivalry between MNM and The Hardys, Joey Mercury & Johnny Nitro have continuously blamed Matt & Jeff Hardy for the injury Mercury sustained at Armageddon in a Ladder Match.

At No Way Out, MNM will team with MVP to take on the team of The Hardys and United States Champion Chris Benoit in another chapter to this epic war.

Will Benoit assist The Hardys as the look to put MNM behind them, or can MVP and MNM continue to torment them?

Man, I guess I was giving WWE too much credit when I thought they wouldn't throw these six into a "Sorry, we couldn't think of anything better for them to do" match.

The cruiserweight open and the main event could be good, I guess everything else will be sucky.

The brand split really is a piece of nonsense, now. This is a Smackdown PPV, with Raw guys all over it. I guess Melina will be there too, with MNM, and the RAW divas will be there for the talent contest.

Oh yeah, and an ECW title match too. This is just ridiculous.

...also, WHY add MVP and Benoit into the MNM and Hardys match? There's no point to this whatsover, other than to throw these guys on the card because *WHOOPS*...they've nothing else to do! I actually *forgot* about Benoit altogether, he hasn't been on Smackdown much these days.

It'll be cool if it actually leads to a match between these two, with MVP getting a run with the US Title, though. They should put the belt on someone like him. I'm tired of established guys like Benoit and Hardy on RAW holding the secondary belts, they don't need them and they should be used to elevate some of the younger talent.

I guess I should be glad we're not getting Benoit v Chavo 37, though.

Yeah, this might be a Smackdown only ppv, but i don't see anyone from Smackdown that i would want to see missing from the card, so the odd few appearences in the run up to 'Mania is hardly something to end the brand split over!

True, there are no big names from Smackdown missing from the card. I just think it's lame that we have three brands, and only one of them could potentially put on a *reasonable* brand-only PPV without draughting in guys from other rosters.

Chavo is part of the cruiserweight open match but the Internet newz site got it wrong. I guess they'll just blame McMahon for changing his mind instead of actually admitting that they made a mistake.

Two days ago there was only 4 advertised matches and I was debating wether to watch it. These new ones seal the deal.

They've got some good match ups - Kennedy & Lashley. Benoit & MVP, they just forgot to add any buildup whatsoever.

Come on guys...we don't know if the dirt sheets knew for sure that the E were going to make Mnm and the Hardys singles wrestlers.

For all we know they(Meltzger) made that up(educated guess) and the E really canceled the Ladder Match because they decided to have one at Wrestlemania next month and felt two in two months would be overkill.

That and it makes more sense booking wise since you had the Tag Team champs lose two weeks in row only for the team that beat them not to get a shot.
