So I just left Monster Mania in New Jersey where Afa, Lou Albano, and the Iron Shiek were guests. On Afa's banner and every one of his program bios, it referred to him as "2007 WWE Hall of Fame Inductee." Has this been confirmed anywhere? Because man, if this is true, it's an unusual (though no less deserving)choice.

Several sites have reported it but, not WWE (yet).

Why is it unusual? Afa & Seka were one of the best tag teams around. thier fueds with Chief Jay and Jules Strongbow used to give me goosebumps. Add to that the fact that they have trained a whole bunch of wrestlers and yes that makes both of them worthy of induction.

From when Hogan gave away all 2007 HoF inductees from another spoiler thread a few weeks back, it mentioned that the Wild Samoans would be inducted in this year's HoF.
They were tag-champs multiple times and Afa has trained numerous wrestlers, including Snitsky.

I wonder who will induct them? It'd be cool if Fatu and Samu did. I'm sure WWE would like to get The Rock to do it...
Or they could use it as a way to get Afa Jr. into the WWE, since he's in DSW now.
