I know everyone knows about the site and stuff but if you go look at the RAW page, and Smackdown page its cool to see what people were thinking back then as it was happening rather then just what people SAY they thought...
Heres one from the Smackdown one I think...
"I liked the WWF till that little blonde silicone infested chick Trish showed up. Jericho, HHH, Too Cool, the Hardy Boyz, Lita, Undertaker, and Kane....All greats all superstars....Trish...not one of them. I hate her, and she ruined wrestling for me."
Heres a cool one from the RAW...
"Tonight (Monday 04/10/00), the WWF's main rival - World Championship Wrestling - is relaunching it's TV product in a new era, following several very emabrassing months of atrocious ratings, arena shows where 75% of the seats are filled with freebie tix, backstage fighting, loss of team morale, wreslter walk-outs, firings, injuries and utterly pathetic Pay Per View showings. I personally dislike the WCW and it's product - but I hope with all my might that they build up and become a threat to the WWF's seemingly invincible popularity. Because a bored and too-comfortable Vince McMahon is dangerous for the long-term success of the company. After a phenomenal 2 year run that saw the WWF more or less DESTROY the WCW, Vince & Co. deserved! a little break, free from the worry of ratings and competition. Now it's SHOWTIME and the WCW can make it's little chip in what has become the biggest era of pro wrestling in history, while in the process forcing the WWF to look over it's shoulder occasionally and deliver the kind of product that brought them back to the top of the heap. The classic McMahon v. Stone Cold rivalry, the zany Rock v. Mankind / Rock n Sock Connection, and all the wonderful mid-card storylines were their healthiest and ripest when Vince McMahon had something to prove - say what you will about the man, but he is best when under pressure and in need to prove himself. Let's encourage the WCW to up the stakes a bit and, in turn, get the WWF smoking again!! "
Heres the best one...
""When Vince Russo left the blow to the WWF was near fatal."
