WWE-Lite's matches have been slow and boring. Impact's matches are actually very good. The fact that so many people claim they don't is a surprising show of how few people seem to actually watch the broadcasts. or only watch matches where the majority of matches end that way. Well, I'm more of a mark for the type of wrestling that we saw tonight rather than the spot monkey style that they show on Impact. Maybe if those X-Division guys would, gee I dunno, SELL a move every once in a while I'd enjoy it more. I've never had a problem with the consistent selling. In ECW a man like Balls Mahoney could get whacked with a chair three or four times, take a piledriver on the concrete and only stay down for two. Just because the kayfabe-pain isn't the same as WWE, doesn't make it wrong.

Well, since ECW actually has matches its not that hard. WWE-Lite's matches have been slow and boring. Impact's matches are actually very good. The fact that so many people claim they don't is a surprising show of how few people seem to actually watch the broadcasts. or only watch matches where the majority of matches end that way. Dude, TNA IS WWE-lite.

Just because the kayfabe-pain isn't the same as WWE, doesn't make it wrong. I won't disagree with you on that. Someone like Balls or Sandman can get hit in the face with Death himself and would be able to get up. Just watching Mike Awesome Vs. Tanaka from ONS pisses me off. But those X-Division guys don't even try to make the moves look lethal. Someone like Jay Lethal can give somebody a 765 splash or whatever the hell it's called and their back up starting a comeback thirty seconds later. That's the type of selling I have a problem with and that TNA has had since day one with a few exceptions like Styles, Jerry Lynn, and Chris Daniels. But I'd take the ECW we saw last night over the spot monkey no selling BS that TNA gives us any day.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I thoroughly enjoyed ECW tonight. It had better matches than any Impact of the last few months. I mean, I don't expect ECW to improve overnight, but tonight was entertaining. It really was a good show last night, and had more wrestling than Impact easily. I only wish they had done this storyline with the New Breed vs. Originals a lot sooner.

No, Taz is an ECW original. Tazz is just some announcer guy for WWECW.

Wow I've never heard of anyone NOT liking the Tanaka/Awesome matches. Easily my favorite series of matches, ever.
Also, Tazz was not in ECW. Taz was. They're different people (That's what Tazz basically says on the new ECW DVD thats out)
Stevie Richards and Little Guido never were, either. They are made up figments of the internet's imagination.

I think he's admitted that he's washed up by now. Also, CM Punk is part of the New Breed as is Lashley.

I find it amusing that ECWWE is beginning to turn around and become quite entertaining, as it has been the past few weeks, just as it was reported by Meltzer et el that Vince was taking an interest in the show. Could it be possible that we are seeing that influence beginning to show? Or is this the influence of newly moved Dusty to the booking team?

Tazz and Taz are the same guy, they just spell the name differently in WWE so Warner Bros. doesn't sue. Or is WWE just retconning like they did when they declare Benoit's world title "official"?

No, what I mean is, on the new ECW DVD, when Tazz is introducing a Taz match, he speaks like he is talking of someone else, talking about what "Taz was" or stuff like that. To me he's moved on in his mind and is a totally different guy now.

Dude, TNA IS WWE-lite. No. 'ECW' is WWE-Lite. TNA is, at worst, a pre-Nitro WCW, and at best, a promotion that has some of it's legacy, but that isn't basically something Vince owns that isn't even pretending to be what drew fans to it originally.
