Wow people are vicious. I love this guy. It's funny he actually does remind me of Chris Jericho when he was very young, in WCW. I like him he looks very talented and unlike alot of the guys to come out of OVW in my opinion he's great on the mic. Look at Elijah Burke because he will be main eventing in the future. Also he made one mistake and he's garbage? Thats ridiclous.

It's just too soon for him to be thrust into such a lofty role.
He needs to actually win some matches, challenge for a belt before being proclaimed so highly.

Now Lashley?
That's a whole different situation.
A 287 lbs sleeping pill.
Burke can cut promos around that bull in a china shop any day.
But with Burke's moveset right now, a match between the two of them would see televisions all across the land turned to a different station.

Burke needs more work.

Yes I totally agree. Like I said he is essentially Jericho for his WCW days. True they may push him too soon but I don't see this happeninmg. They wont do Burke vs Lashley for awhile. Not as a feud anyway. Part of the point of the whole burke is the future is to show he wasn't ready by himself and in fact I feel it was a way of mocking Punk who people say is the future. I mean you look at Burke and he looks like a future star as Jericho did in WCW. So in essense that promo was true. However they will not just feed him to Lashley that would make him look incredibly weak.

That pissed me off too. I mean he's good in the ring but hell he shouldn't have to steal Jericho's gimmicks to get over. Maybe if Jericho ever comes back he'll go to ECW and put Burke in 1,004 holds to teach him a lesson.
