I'd say yes, IMO back then that was a dream feud waiting to happen. Arguably the 2 most over workers from both companies battling one on one, just seemed like a huge-money feud.
How did they miss the boat on that?

That would have been awesome. Two ridiculously charismatic guys who also happen to be great in ring talents. There's no way that could have been bad.

They just plain took advantage of him. If he weren't such a genuinely positive guy, this feud would personally weigh on my conscience as a wrestling fan.
