OK, I'm confused. I came on here yesterday and the basic premise was - Raw's not on. It was the first I'd heard about it (I'm from the UK) and if I didn't have Sky+ (which tapes my shows automatically) I'd have missed Raw.
But there it was, waiting for me this morning. So for once we Brits got lucky when it comes to WWE.
So WHY wasn't it shown in the US? A dog show? Is that right? 'Cos if so - man, the USA Network doesn't think much of Raw.

It's good business on USA's part.
Whereas Raw is their highest rated program, it doesn't make much money in the way of advertising.
The dog show doesn't get high ratings, but higher end advertisers are more willing to spend more money to promote their product on that show, because the core audience (old women) have plenty of money to spend.
USA can sill throw Raw on this Thursday, get the same huge rating as always, and still make extra money from the dog show earlier in the same week.

Or, you could do like me and watch it on monday since you're in Canada and all.
In all honesty? Not that good a RAW. One match could have saved it, but it didn't.

IIRC, the reason why RAW came back to USA is because USA's losing the dog show to another sports cable network (and possibly tennis too) in another year or so.

The Dog Show always has, and always will, preempt Raw. It's the same as it's always been.

I wouldn't have minded as much if it was a 2hr episode of SNL's "Dog Show" skit.

I knew they showed the replays but, I wasn't sure if they would air the new episode before it airs on USA. Now I have something to watch on Wednesday.

I wouldn't feel too badly. RAW used to be pre-empted for the dog show even during the Attitude Era.
