The Jackel(sp, aka Cyrus the Virus) paired them up after he was kicked out of the Oddities, or he left them, don't remember what happened. I don't remember the Jackyl being in the Oddities. I remember it being Golga, Luna, Giant Silva and Kurrgan, with the occasional appearance by the ICP. Jackyl was in The Truth Commision, which became the Oddities, sort of... a couple of the members were the same. He was their manager for a short time, and if I remember right... he was more like a circus side show promoter who mistreated his "freaks". Once he left, the Oddities became more of a cartoonish stable. |

About Foley being corporate.
McMahon hated Austin and he wanted to use a wrestler to take the belt from him. Foley just started becoming a huge babyface after they broke kayfabe and turned him from Mankind into loveable underdog Mick Foley with a mask.
I think it was around the time he showed up as Dude Love. McMahon wanted to use him and used Dude Love as his handpicked champion.
Mick did his best to be corporate but Vince never liked him and only needed him to beat Austin. It kept Foley as a tweener. And his carreer benefited a lot from it.
