There are plans for a Curt Hennig/Mr. Perfect DVD in 2007. Hopefully a hall of fame induction isn't far behind.

Not much information, but it's nice to hear that there are plans for one. I'm really looking forward to this, I've always felt Mr. Perfect was underrated and really deserved main event statues in the WWF.

God, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one.
Hopefully he'll get the 3 disc treatment.

(MARKS OUT LIKE CRAZY) God that's weird I was just about to make a "I demand a Mr. Perfect WWE DVD" thread, no joke. I was watching "J&M Productions Presents: The Perfect Collection" which contains like a lot of his classic promos, great matches, and even some Japan matches. They even had his matches with Blue Blazer (Owen Hart ), Red Rooster, and Nick Bockwinkle." In his later XWF and WWE matches I was thinking to myself, "My god, he didn't age one bit from 1991 to 2002." Man I miss Curt.

I hope instead of putting one or both his PPV matches with Bret which are already on Bret's DVD that they opt to include one of their encounters from 1989, preferrably their match at MSG right after WM5 since I was at that show and haven't seen it since that night.

All the sport vignettes of him throwing the football etc. Hopefully they have some footage of him form his AWA days when he teamed with Scott Hall to win the tag titles and beating Bockwinkel for the title.

As long as we get a bonus feature of him performing Rap is Crap from Nitro in 2000, that song was so catchy

I almost never buy these DVDs, but if this is legit, it's likely going straight onto my shelf next to my Bret Hart one.

I wonder if they are basing it on J.R's comments about a possible Hennig DVD. I'd buy it if it was true, he was a damn good talent in the ring.

I'm getting this anyway, but I'd really like to see his appearance in the 2002 Rumble included. Perfect gets double-teamed by Austin and HHH.....and his response is the gum hit. Absolutely...PERFECT.

I'm kind of upset about this. My big dream right now is to work in the home video department of WWE and I always wanted to be the one to put together a Curt Hennig DVD.
And you want to know my selling point for the DVD, for those who may not know Hennig?
I was going to interview Brock Lesnar for it. They were very close friends, and I thought it'd be a classy move to let Brock speak about him.
But I guess my dream will never come to fruition. Hopefully there are interviews with his wife and father to get a glimpse of the man he was outside the ring. Most likely no Lesnar interview, though. I'm the only one smart enough to think about that.
Who knows, maybe when I do get a job working for WWE home video, my other dream of making a Scott Hall collection, entitled "Walking the Razor's Edge" (Get it? It's a double meaning) will become a reality.
Hell, even if I can't be the one to work on this project, I'm at least glad some sort of tribute to my favorite wrestler is being released.

I can do the behind the back towel deal, but with none of the class and grace Hennig brought to it.
