Fantasy Booking: Hogan/Austin WM 2000

So... lets pretend its 1999..... WWF have convinced Hogan to sign a contract..... its the night after WM15 and you have been given the job to book the biggest angle in history....

What would you do? Remember that the angle has to stretch a year..... from the night after WM 15 until WM 2000...

Why do I have the feeling this is going to go down into a Hogan hate thread by the time the day is done?

so I guess I'll do one:

Its the night after WM15.... Austin comes out celebrating his huge win.... Vince comes out and says he can't believe it.... Austin survived.... but Vince than says that he has a plan.... a master plan....

The next Week Austin VS Ken Shamrock with the WWF title on the line.... Austin wins after 12 minutes and suddenly Vince is there... he tells Austin that he knows Austin is worrying about his master plan... Vince mentions that the plan involves someone from his past.... a figure he never thought he'd see again... Austin Stuns Vince

The next few weeks is all a build up to the BackLash rematch between Austin and Rock with Vince dropping hints..... perhaps a "Greatest Moments In WWE History" clip segment.... featuring Hogan, Andre, Savage, Warrior, Sid.

At BackLash Austin beats Rock and his victory celebration is interrupted by Vince who says these words: "Austin your neck but red.... but your spine is yellow..... by the way... thats a clue..."

Austin the next night on RAW demands to know who Vinces master plan is... Vince decides to book Austin against Rock again instead.... before the match... babyface seeds are planted for Rock as he questions Vinces motives.... Vince responds with a "win this match or your fired" to Rock.... Rock wins the match by DQ after a chairshot from an enraged Austin and Vince announces that at the next PPC, (Unforgiven, I think) Austin will face a big bad man.... VADER!

The Next Week Austin is told that while Vader is a big suprise... that Vince still has an ace up his sleeve as he reveals... that after that match he will unveil his Master Plan...

Unforgiven... Vader and Austin go back and forth with Vince interferring and getting a Stunner for his trouble.... Vader eats a Stunner and Austin goes for the win when the lights in the arena go out.... when they return Austin is out and a Red And Yellow streak is painted down his back.....

Raw the next night: Vince states that his plan didn't come off like he wanted... but the master plan is still intact.... he than is interrupted by Austin who delivers a ass whooping and is stopped by Vader.... but before Vader can do any real damage... the first few notes of "Voodoo Chile" play and the arena is bathed in Red and Yellow lights.... a distorted voice says: I'm coming back Austin.... and coming for you..." end show....

Next Week on Raw: Its announced that at the June PPV (Judgement Day) that it'll be Austin and Rock VS Vader and a mystery partner.

Judgment Day: Austin and Rock VS Vader is what we get for most of the match than a figure dressed all in black and a black hood makes his way to the ring towards the end... he lowblows Austin and hits a diamond cutter for which allows Vader to hit a Vader Sault for the win.... afterwards the Figure rips his shirt off and chokes Austin with it as we end the show....

Raw: Austin shows up and calls out the Figure... he says he has a good idea who it is... Vince appears and says that Austin will face Rock and Vader at Fully Loaded and after that he will know what and who the Master Plan is....

so the next few weeks build up to Fully Loaded.... Austin also beings a mini story line with HHH

Fully Loaded: Austin defeats Vader and Rock... this is Vaders last show.... Rock and Austin continue brawling when Triple H runs in and pedigrees both men..... the Figure appears and says in a distorted voice: "Austin... you'll know who I am soon enough.... brother..."

Raw: the actuall Chyna/Mankind SummerSlam main event build up happens with Mankind getting a slot in the 3-Way.... t

SummerSlam: The show opens with Jesse Ventura coming out of Vinces Dressing room.... Ventura says he just saw a ghost from the past....

Austin/Triple H/Mankind ends as it did.... Mankind as champ which leads to Vince saying: "Damn it..... now the plan is falling apart...." The Figure appears and cold cocks Mankind... as the Corperation Theme plays to end the show the Figure plays the air guitair with the belt.

RAW: Trips win the title.... Austin is booked into matches against Corp. members the next two PPVs with the Figure playing headgames....

At Survivor Series.... Austin is run over.... Vince denies any part of it and the Figure wont speak on camera.... the next few months build the whole thing up until Austin enters the Royal Rumble....

Royal Rumble: Austin returns un-announced at number 28 and last until the end.... number 30 is the masked man... and he and Austin brawl.... Austin uses a chair to knock him down and goes to remove the mask... the Figure throws him off... and removes the mask himself... to reveal hes actually......................... Randy Savage.... Hulk Hogan enters the ring from the other side and chair shots Austin he and Savage double team him and Austin eventually Stunners Savage out of the ring... winning the Rumble.... Hogan beats him down and the show Ends with Hogan standing over Austin....

Raw: Austin opens the show stating how he saw Hogan behind the wheel and knew it was him all along.... he vows revenge and calls Hogan out.... instead he gets Savage who announces that at No Way Out its him and Austin one on one..... later in the night Hogan is awarded a title shot against Triple H and Mick Foley is scheduled to face Jericho in the Cell.....(im my booking Jericho cost Cactus the title at the Rumble and ends his career, not HHH)


No Way Out: Austin and Savage go back and forth for 20 minutes with Austin avoiding a big Macho Elbow and hitting a Stunner for the win.

Jericho ends Foley's career....

Hogan defeats Triple H in a match that recieves a 60-40 crowd split with the majority behind Hogan...

The show ends with Austin and Hogan staring each other down....

The next few weeks Austin and Hogan cut promos on each other.... the Raw before Mania.... Hogan tells Vince that he can take his master plan and shove it... Hogans here to prove once and for all who's the better man....

WrestleMania 2000: After 25+minutes and 3 stunners/3 legdrops.... Austin uses a huge chair shot and another stunner.... 1....2.... kick out... Hulk Up... Leg Drop, Leg DRop, Leg Drop.... 1...2...3! Hogan wins the crowd explodes and Vince makes a last minute appearance.... he says its time to reveal his master plan.... with that Austin delivers a low blow and a stunner and shakes Vinces hand.....

RAW: Austin reveals that the Master Plan was really trying to make the most money at WM.... Austin is officially heel now and he defeats Hogan at BackLash with help from Vince.... the feud blow off is SummerSlam when Hogan wins again with help from Nash and Hall to reform the nWo.... which are now more of a face/tweener style stable that fued with the Corporation..... all this leads to WM 18 where Rock/Hogan takes place..... and normal events are now back in session....

a year is too long. If it were the early 90s where ppvs were longer an we had 4 of a year then it would work. Since theres a ppv a month now these certain angles wouldnt come off as well.
