As much as I can't stand The Miz, the only decent thing about him is the fact JBL insults him so much.
But why?
I mean, I know JBL is staying both "in character" and probably speaking his mind, but you can't help but feel sorry for The Miz.. you know.. a little bit.
JBL praises pretty much EVERY wrestler on Smackdown. Even the likes of Scotty Too Hotty he calls him a veteran and a tag champ. It's a good thing - it makes them look good and makes Smackdown look good and makes the viewer think they're not watching some over the hill loser.
Heel commentators either mock how a wrestler looks or talks or sticks up for the heel wrestler's actions. And JBL does this - except with The Miz. JBL mocks how the Miz looks - but he also says he can't WRESTLE. When's the last time we ever heard a commentator say that?
You would think someone in the back (or the Miz, if he maybe wasn't worried about getting his ass kicked) would tell JBL to cut those kind of comments out. I mean, after all, if a guy "who couldn't pin me if I was tied to a tree" is beating the likes of Matt Hardy - how bad does that make the Smackdown brand look?

In JBL's defense, Miz does look like a Sleestak.
I think it's the same reason I hate the Miz. He broke into the business without paying his dues. He didn't even win a contest to get it, he was a runner-up in that TE contest, and he's taking up a roster spot that could go to another guy.
I'd love to see how JBL would handle someone like Johnny Fairplay.

I'd love to see how JBL would handle someone like Johnny Fairplay. I'd actually pay good money to see Fairplay get his ass destroyed by JBL. And knowing JBL, he'd talk other vets like Finlay into potatoeing him in the ring. |

Miz, Sylvan, and Vito get JBL hate and it fit into his character.
Mr. Kennedy and MVP were hated on by JBL, and they both earned his "Respect" by going in there with the Brothers of Destruction and surviving.
Vito represents the gays which of course will make a manly man like JBL very uncomfortable, i mean that is Michael Cole's BF. The Man wears a dress for god's sake.
Sylvan isn't only French, he's French Canadian, so that's double hate.
ThE Miz, the guy has a hairdo inspired by the Red Red Rooster, has no chin, and is the most annoying thing on the planet.

I could care less for his in-ring persona or wrestling ability the guy is annoying. I've said this before, for me it goes back to the days of Real World, the guy is super annoying and I can't stand to watch him, could care less if he's a good heel in the ring or not. |

But if it were me, it would be because he's uncharasmatic, is a glorified jobber and is extremely lucky that he hasn't been sent packing with that massive roster cut from a few weeks ago.

Whoever said Miz hasn't paid his dues....what dues exactly should he be paying? It's not like he just showed up at Tough Enough one day without any experience. He was wrestling indys for a while before that.
