Is Heymen overrated by a bunch of geeks who think they are a part of some exclusive club that doesn't actually exist? I wouldn't know.

Look at the careers he helped: Al Snow, 911, Sandman, Mike Awesome, Balls Mahoney, all the Dudleys, Taz, Shane Douglas, man, this list just goes on and on.
How many other wrestling figures made chicken salad outta chicken crap as much as he did?

In order to prevent nostalgia from affecting your opinion of him, look past the Attitude era and the original ECW days. Look at OVW.
More guys got brought up from OVW at one time when Heyman booked it then any time ever. Hell, five guys at once were called to Raw to form a stable. Look at the stories and fueds OVW had, compared to before and after his tenure: The Thrillseekers fued. Punk vs Albright.
I personally gained a lot of interest in OVW when Heyman took over, and lost interest when he left.
So I would have to say that Paul Heyman is not overrated.
