Should be, but no. Aparently he's in the 'dog house' because he's an asshole backstage. Whatever, they wouldn't be smart enough to push him anyway. Not like having the ECW belt would say too much either...

I will not buy Punk as champ. A 220lb no look to him, his title run will be like Reys title run. And as long as HHH is in charge HELL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

nope
he doesn´t have the "looks" to be WWE champ (roided up hoss or half-hoss)
he needs to shut his mouth and be on his political toes all the time (don´t think he could do this)
plus there´s always HHH, HBK, Kennedy, Batista, Cena, Orton, Edge and some others who will have the 2 main belts around their waist

It's not impossible, like saying Matt Hardy or Brian Kendrick would become World Champion, but ... I'm leaning towards 'no'.

Here's the thing with punk, I can see him going the Bret Hart route. If he can put on great matches where everybody looks good, they'll eventually push him hard cause they have no choice but to. There's also the chance of him going the Jake route in terms of never becoming champ but only because he never needed a belt whatsoever.
