I don't know if I'm posting this in the right section, but it has the WWE in it so I put it here. I was bored and was just looking at random stuff on wikipedia and I noticed while going through Kings of Wrestling that it stated that Claudio had a successful tryout at DSW and was offered a developmental deal for the WWE. It then goes on to state that he was released from it. I've been searching the web, but it's mostly stuff about him getting a deal, nothing on the release. Can anybody tell me why he was released?

Something about his green card resulted in Johnny Ace going ballistic and releasing him from it
either that or something about Indy commitments
i still haven't heard the whole story really.

That's what confuses me, he should have a working visa, 'cause he's been working in the states long enough.

Most I have heard about this (from Sweeney and Quackenbush):
No one really knows why Claudio was released. Only thing I really heard from them is that Claudio is an EXTREMELY private person, and the likelihood that the reason will come out is slim to nil.

Well, in that case I will answer my own questions and just blame Johnny Ace. Seems to work for whenever something goes wrong in the E it can somehow be traced back to him. Sort of a "Six-Degrees-of-Blame"

Working for indy feds and working for a corporation like WWE are two different things. I recall JD Michaels had about a similar situation with his work visa a couple years ago when he was going to OVW, and he's only Canadian.

Yeah but at the same time, a work visa and a green card (which Claudio has) are different. I don't think we'll ever know the real story, which is a shame. I hope Claudio does come to the E at some point, but I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to deal with their crap anymore.

WWE became confused and agitated when they saw a big man that can work, and were worried that he would overshadow their current roster of bland hosses.
There was only one thing to do...

This was a week before the big release week so me thinks they just started early.
