Where will Punk & Lashley fit into the ECW war?

I don't know, in all honesty. I imagine they want to keep Lashley face, and Vince did mention something about the possibility of Punk turning Heel.

Someone on here a few days ago had a good scenario of Punk coming out pretending to save the Originals and then turns on them by attacking one of them with a chair, then you could feud him with just about anyone from Dreamer to Sandman.

Only problem is that I hope he doesn't get thrown into the background and forgotten.

I don't think Lashley will be involved with that feud. Punk might be asked to join the Extremists, but I see him refusing. He's really over as a face right now.

I like CM Punk as a heel. But i'm sure him as a heel in WWE would be a billion times different then him as a heel in ROH. Punk may join the New Breed, but you never know.

Lashley is not gonna be written in. They're just gonna have him feud with Snitsky.

Though I think CM Punk will end up with the new breed, I would like to see an angle where he is "initiated" into the originals. Possibly through a group caneing.

This is one of the few times I agree with Buck Woodward. Unless they want to turn Punk heel he has no where to go. He isn't one of the originals, so that wouldn't exactly make sense. But he's a very over face, so he can't join the new breed and remain a face. I guess he'll either go heel or have nothing to do with this.

Lashley won't be anywhere near this feud.

CM Punk should be a Wild Card and not really side with either, but both sides really want him on their respective sides. He should be like Bruce Willis in Last Man Standing. Play both sides for what they are all worth.

Really I think these two will be central figures in the fued along with Burke and Sandman.

Punk needs to run heel as he's fueded with near every heel in ECW and from a storyline stand point he has no choice but to turn heel
